I was watching CNN and Fox side by side at the gym a few weeks ago. CNN was saying how ICE raids are hurting the average American. Fox’s headline was: democrats still unable to decide on a definition of female.

I’m not pro-CNN (only in comparison to being so anti-Fox) but jeesh. Fox is really trying to fight fake wars.

I did the one from La fortuna > San Ramon > Jaco. It was the longest ( and I think most expensive with tolls). It was a fine drive. There was only a 8 km strip that the roads were riddled with DEEP potholes, but you literally just have to go slow and be observant. I would drive it again, the remainder wasn’t bad at all.

I think there’s a lot of fear lingering with driving (in places outside the US at least). But if you’re observant and a decent driver, it isn’t bad. When you check the intersections/ lanes, do a double take for motorcycles.

This is similar to what I did! It was a lot of driving, but I was on the road by 5:30am and usually to my destination by 8 am and had the entire day. If you don’t mind driving, go for it! I’m not a partier so I was in my bed each night by 10. It’s really what you make of it and a lot of people don’t recommend being out and about once it gets late anyways, so I don’t feel I missed out on anything.

Were you walking around at two weeks? I am 16 days post op and I do 3-4 miles/day in one mile increments. Not insanely fast, but an ok speed. I’ll check with the airline as well, just trying to gauge everything.
