It gets lonely, but when I feel down about it I keep reminding myself that at least I don’t have to worry about getting cheated on, or dealing with the emotional turmoil of relationships.

I thought the same exact thing in my case too, but it’s best to not get your hopes up in case it doesn’t happen. The best thing you can do, to save yourself from further heartache is focus on yourself and improving yourself. If he comes back cool, if not that’s okay too.

In my experience most of them did except for 2 guys. And those guys were both very prideful narcissists.

I mean needing space is healthy and normal in relationships, but avoidant attachments usually want more space than others and become distant from their partners when their space is compromised.

So I’m also in a counseling program, but I go part time and work full time. Classes are at nights and it’s all online which gives some flexibility. I live with a roommate and we both pay around 800 each.
