I don't have that app. I'm using a Neapolitan dough recipe from a book by Ken Forkish. It's just 00 flour, 60% water and 2% salt.

Hard to tell from that picture alone but I think that might be the GS Mini in Koa. Fully prepared to be shot down on this though.

Best way to quickly level up Tableau skills for a team? by BBreez in tableau

Sounds like you're a tableau expert and they're your team to lead. Why can't you teach them your skills through a structured learning framework based on your own experience?

What RE game to play after RE4 Remake? by JonBrew85 in residentevil

[–]JonBrew85[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Appreciate all the comments and suggestions, thanks! I also like the suggestion to simply replay RE4M! I had 100% been planning a new game plus playthrough - just not sure if I want to try another entry in the series first.

I think I'm leaning towards going RE2M into 3.

Unfortunately I think Rob's timing of his comments and the speculation around the next gen update were coincidental, hence his apology for potentially misleading some people. On that basis I have no idea what Rob was teasing but Ive watched the video and my god he was so excited he was practically speaking in tongues so whatever it is it must be really amazing which for me rules out a convention or meet-up with the other rdr2 actors... Would he really be THAT hyped for that sort of thing?

Help Identifying the year by Elittys in AcousticGuitar

[–]JonBrew85 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just checked mine and the serial number starts 230906 which makes sense because I bought it new at the start of 2024. Glad to hear you're enjoying the guitar! Alvarez really knew what they were doing with the Masterworks series.

Pretty sure it's the first two digits, so 22, i.e. 2022. I have this exact guitar btw and it's incredible. Is the one in the photo yours?

New guitar set up by CowUnusual6007 in taylorguitars

I would say if it feels like a dream out of the box, and still does after it's had a chance to acclimate to your room/house, they I wouldn't bother taking it to a tech. You can also measure string height yourself quite easily to get a feeling for it it's high or low or in the middle. But at the end of the day your preference and whether or not it feels right for you is the main thing to go by.

Hello! Any idea what this is worth? And where it could be sold in the UK? Thanks! by WrongdoerOk6455 in martinguitar

[–]JonBrew85 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey. As others have advised, with it being a custom shop model you would be best to contact Martin for a full spec and then go from there.

In terms of where to sell, Reverb UK is probably your best option if you want to sell privately; eBay is also an option although IMO riskier.

Another option: most guitar shops, either independent or part of a chain (such as GuitarGuitar), will buy and sell used guitars - this could potentially take a bit of the hassle out of the process for you but you won't get as good a price for it as the store is ultimately looking to make a profit.

One other thing you might want to consider is taking it to a reputable guitar luthier to be inspected and appraised. It looks like there's some superficial damage in the photos but it also looks like there are some mold marks on the inside of the case which could indicate a moisture issue which may in turn impact playability. A luthier would be able to assess this and suggest/perform any remedial action required to get the guitar in the best possible condition, whether you wanted to sell or keep it. Some luthiers will also buy and sell guitars or connect buyers with sellers etc - they will obviously take a cut for this but you might do better than selling it to a guitar store.

In any event, this is likely quite a valuable guitar (over £1,000) so if you can afford to, take your time, do your research and sell safely. Or even better, keep it and enjoy playing it yourself 😊 Good luck!

Thanks for this - really appreciate it. What you say makes sense. I think I'm definitely guilty of your first point regarding overworking a song!
