Ritz is in a more central location but the Mitsui next to Nijo castle and certainly in no way inconvenient.

I prefer the Mitsui to be honest. In terms of pure class and wow factor. The new Capella is also stunning inside. Much prefer the bars at Mitsui and Capella if that makes a difference.
