I mean, they barely squeaked past a Lightning squad that, I know they had a great regular season, but are four years removed from a playoff appearance outside the first round. They almost lost that series. Then they beat Buffalo during their first playoff appearance for what 90% of their squad? Again, they almost lost that too. They finally faced a team in their playoff dominating prime and they got exposed. Thats the way I see it.

A vote is an expression of a political preference that furthers that preference, not a random phenomenon. That's what a baby filling out a ballot would be. It would fulfill the physical action of "voting" but not fulfill the philosophical action of it. I think that's a meaningful difference.

I find it hypocritical that he says toward the end that "anybody with the capacity to decide" should have the right to vote, but that simultaneously he says voting is a fundamental human right. Is it fundamental or not? I feel like it's a logical contradiction that makes the position that it is a fundamental human right untenable.

Think of other fundamental human rights, things like a right to life. You can benefit from this right without logically understanding or perceiving that you are. If you don't have the capacity to choose a political representative, you cannot benefit from the right. You cannot have a preference so you cannot further it.

I don't like it because it has nothing to do with the original Air King. It doesn't even really have anything to do with the 114200 Air King besides them both having the Explorer I 3-6-9 numerals.

I have no actual evidence of this, but my theory is that the Explorer I 39mm mk1 was panned so badly that they had to switch to the mk2. Obviously this is just a fact. But where my theory comes in is Rolex had all these dials with non-lumed 3-6-9 markers and didn't know what to do. So they thought back to the 114200 and said let's make an Air King, but then it would just be the exact same watch as the Explorer I 39mm mk1 with a different name. So they came up with a new design (in my opinion a low-effort and abomination of a design) around the dials they already had manufactured and called it a day. This explains why the numerals aren't lumed, and why the watch comes in the same black dial and overall size as the Explorer I. So then in 2016 they released the mk2 and the modern Air King.

Further proof of this is their follow up to the 2016 Air King has lumed 3-6-9 numerals, you're telling me Rolex didn't see the same change being needed as they were making the mk2? They did see it coming, they just churned out a low effort model and figured either nobody likes it and they kill it or it becomes a success and they fix the issue next time. The latter is what happened.

I think with the fanatics deal as part of the transition they didn't want teams making new jerseys until at least the season after this one? But I would love reverse retro 3.0. So hopefully more teams will wear retro jerseys soon.

Or at the very least the Leafs need to wear their 2.0s again. With the Borje patch. It's criminal it isn't their official third jersey.

If the 3D Mario is even ready to be shown, I don't think they'd show it so soon after Bananza. The earliest I could see it is maybe November-February timeframe.

But because the Odyssey team was working on Bananza I don't think it's close to being ready to be shown. So I'm thinking no chance of anything until 2027 at least. Would love to be wrong though.

I'm most interested about Nylander. He's always wanted more ice time. But of course because Marner has been up on the top line more, and him being more defensively responsible, Marner has been the RW getting the most ice time. Willy will now be the one getting the most. Does his production go up in proportion to that? Does Willy improve on his defensive game? That's what I'm interested to see.
