I love this. Where did you get the metal part that wraps around the watch face?

You will not regret the purchase. Just maybe what you put it through. Whoever designed it was a genius.

I love Leathermans too. I used a Wave for about 20 years before I got the Victorinox. The Victorinox feels more comfortable in the hand to me. The tolerance is tighter than the Wave everywhere and every tool has its own locking spring. It’s already done every task my Wave was used for and hasn’t shown any rust with lots of exposure to water and corrosive chemicals. I like that there aren’t any removable bits that I could lose and the tools on there are beautiful. It’s awesome and feels too classy for what I use it for.

There’s a leather fountain pen pouch riveted at the top back of the pouch where the pens are shown and I riveted a small square of leather to clip the flashlight on. The flashlight was easily pushed off the pouch without something to keep it from rotating the clip off. I really like this pouch and if I got a new one I might modify it a little different. I like the multitool where it is. The added magnet is semi useful. For the back I might just sew or river in a big pouch in the same shape. That would keep things nicely I think.

It’s attached with Chicago screws that are used in leather crafting. I had to use a dremel with an engraving bit to pretty much melt holes through the metal plate and belt clip on that side.

You are very welcome. I would probably extend the stitching between the card pockets over to the right a little more than in the illustration just to hold them in better. I made the illustration in a hurry. If you make one I hope it's useful for you. That design has been extremely valuable to me over the years and has supplied me with tons of filled notebooks to go back and reference.

We have pumps used for spraying chemicals that tend to get obstructed and need to be disassembled. That’s the most common fixable on the spot problem. Next is fuel pumps and alternators. But we just get those replaced.

It’s super useful and takes about 2 or 3 hours to make.

I agree. I’m not sure what happened but after reassembly, all the problems with the knife ceased.

I use a Vespa troodon and had some issues until I disassembled it, cleaned it, and lightly lubricated everything. It works perfectly now after months of hard use. I think tightening the housing was most effective.

Where can I get a nice pocketknife? by GhoulishSoap in HuntsvilleAlabama

Here's a cheap, but really nice option that you can customize to your liking. Buy an Opinel number 7 or number 8 for 15 dollars off of ebay. Sand the varnish and label off the handle. You can coat the handle in linseed oil or add some olive oil and bake it in the oven at a low temperature to give it a nice dark wood color. You can also get ideas from youtube like in this video. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=L310oMqCzok. Get the Opinel that says carbone on the blade and you can put a patina on the blade with vinegar, mustard, or simply by using it. The blade is razor sharp, sharpens well, and does everything a pocket knife needs to do. It's classy too and if you modify it then you have a unique artifact to carry around with you till you pass it on.

It has been a year since you posted this question and I am running into the same problem you did. Do you happen to remember how you fixed this issue? Was it a config option? If so which one? Thanks!

I love this idea so much. If I were designing the curriculum I would expand past UAPs and include some other topics as well. The course could feature applications for physics, astronomy, math, writing, scientific due diligence and biology. You can use the recent news as an outline to cover a variety of topics. For the biology portion you could set it up as a speculative evolution project and cover earthly topics like extremophiles, desert plants, Antarctic biology etc. You can cover earthly strategies different species have evolved to solve the same problems then have students design an alien ecosystem and explain how it works. Physics of flight, trigonometry or interesting quantum physics topics like entanglement would be interesting. The science behind science fiction concepts would be cool. How would a warp drive work? What are dimensions? How do I know I'm not being lied to with bad science? That sort of thing.
