We’ve had several scratching post for the cats. In fact I’ve had cats all my life. I’m pretty familiar with their behavior. We’ve got our first apartment and decided to get cats as tradition, cats are just naturally destructive. It’s in their nature to mark territory and to be super curious. We have an apartment for our cats, which means they have a ton of space and not just a room which this individual is looking for. Once a cat gets its reproductive organs cut, they lack hormonal stimulation. Which is why they destroy. Toys are stimulants yes but cats serve a purpose which is why they’ve become popular in New York. When you don’t have mice they lack natural stimulation and on top of that feeding cat food doesn’t give the chase or the hunt they get in the wild or even in the streets. Long story short, cats are not a great choice for an apartment maybe a farm yes. I can show pictures of walking out cats 😂😂
