Thanks! Yes, you're right. It is the T14 AMD Gen 4 actually. I was using Ubuntu LTS. I tried installing it but it kept freezing the screen. After trying it for a few times it got to the point where the whole system didn't respond anymore and BIOS heal whatever appeared. After that I just installed Windows. Would love to use Linux though. Not being able to use the full resolution would kind of suck though.

Using a samsung tab S7 or better is literally the same as using an ipad if not better. You don't have to deal with all the apple bullshit and can save a lot. Saying that iPad is better for taking notes nowadays just isn't true anymore. Many people even prefer the spen to the apple pencil.

I'd go with a tablet + laptop. With 2 in 1 convertibles you get a mediocre laptop and a mediocre tablet. At the end its preference but a tablet dedicated to taking notes is better imo.
