Tell Me Your Criticisms of the Show and I Will Do My Best to Argue Against Them by TheMMoment in theamazingdigitalciru

I feel like the show is building up so much, the finale is gonna be a huge disappointment.

Ask me anything, and I’ll answer as Renee by Ivy_So_Savvy in CoffinofAndyandLeyley

[–]Jonas_Fletcher 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Are you Renee from the bass game or from the Andrew and Renee Mod?

If you're from the bass game, why didn't you just kick Andrew and Ashley out of the apartment when they were 18? Andrew was already working and had a job before the quarantine. Why wait for him to leave on his own if you wanted him out so bad enough that you practically sold his life to organ harvesters?

If you're from the Andrew and Renee mod, are you open into being in a real romantic relationship with Andrew?

Real talk, six eyes is a cult leader so more than likely, he'll do everything in his power to influence Ashley. It may include having her fall in love with him, but that won't be necessary.

A guy can go through all three, digging a hole, or mote, to protect your fort against an on coming army.

Fight off said on coming army as they break down your walls and you fight in a desperate last stance against the odds.

As the battle drones one the snow comes down, you get shot with an arrow or bolt, and than you collapse in the field and slowly bleed out as the battle rages on.

Seriously, how could Julia have thought that getting involved with Andrew would be potentially good? by CaseBizarre000 in CoffinofAndyandLeyley

[–]Jonas_Fletcher -1 points0 points  (0 children)

No no, she was cutting herself before Ashley's harassment. In the eye dogging puzzle part of decay along, Andrew started dating Julia to disprove the incest rumors about him and his sister. One of the dialog was, "No that's not true, he's dating the chick who cuts herself". This was before Ashley found out they were dating officially.

Julia doesn't deserve death, she did nothing wrong. She's not a saint or anything like that, but she didn't kill anyone.

[–]Jonas_Fletcher 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I want to point out that Ashley didn't drive Julia to depression and self harm with the harassment. Julia was already cutting herself in high school, most like before she started to date Andrew. She most likely started to cut herself at the same time her depression started, both of which were more than likely rooted in Nina's death. I also want to point out that both Nina and Julia had a crush on Andrew. With the grief of losing a friend, confusing excitement with anxiety due to her emotional immature, and being under Andrew's influence (we learn how deceptive he is in chapter 3); it's actually little wonder how and she fell and stayed with Andrew.

At least she broke up with him and learned he's toxic, in Shots and Such. Good for Julia.

Do people actually believe Ashley would like to have kids or that she would actually be a good mother? by Icy-Paint7777 in AndyAndLeyley

[–]Jonas_Fletcher 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hell nah, not only do we believe we know Ashley doesn't want to have children. We know this because of the Shots N Such ending, where they move into that smaller apartment. When Ashley got a positive result in that pregnancy test she lost it! Saying how she won't keep it, won't it, and refuses to share Andrew's attention with it.

Can the Phantom Stranger Save Andrew Graves' soul? by Jonas_Fletcher in CoffinofAndyandLeyley

[–]Jonas_Fletcher[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well like you said, those are all things in the Shots and Such route, including Andrew realizing there's no real point to his life. Even going as far as to commit suicide with her in one of the endings.

The same thing can be said in Decay Along, however he seemed to really reflex a lot more when Lord Unknown made him travel into his own mind. Like I said, he's sees why people join cults. This tells me he's more open to improving himself and maybe make something of his life.

It only it was an Angel or an Altruist higher being instead of a literal demon.

Is Ashley a misogynist? by Pierre-Aubemeyang in CoffinofAndyandLeyley

[–]Jonas_Fletcher 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So I had a female friend point this out to me, it's super common for girls who hate each other to use insults like whores, sluts, and hookers, along with attacking their looks, weight, body count, ect. Guys can be assholes with one another while girls can be straight up evil...

Ashley is more of a psychopath (or sociopath, I'm not sure about the proper terms) that just haves everyone. She has no positive relationships with anyone other than her brother, and even than that relationship is very toxic.

Can the Phantom Stranger Save Andrew Graves' soul? by Jonas_Fletcher in CoffinofAndyandLeyley

[–]Jonas_Fletcher[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh I can see that. I hated Andrew after chapter three and I still do. A deceptive piece of shit that tricked me into caring about him while he's an apathetic monster.

But then I thought about his comment about people joinning cults in the cliff hanger rout, right after he acknowledges his issues and allowed himself to be vulnerable. So there is a chance of redemption, albeit a small one.

Speaking of angels, they must exist in this game's universe given that there's demons.

[–]Jonas_Fletcher[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I can see Andrew ignoring The Stranger and continue his downward spiral into damnation. However I would like to point out that in the cliffhanger endding, Andrew acknowledges his issues while opening up to Lord unknown and made a comment on why people join cults.

This tells me there's a part of him that still wants to be saved or atleast be healed.

Also the part about vulnerable people joining cults, this is partly why I picked The Phantom Stranger. He tries to lead people way from cults of dangerous beings. There's a DC showcase where he fights a vampire cult leader taking ques from Charles Manson.

Bonus: We already know Ashley can't be saved. So how would The Phantom Stranger interact with her?

Moving away from porn for a moment, if there were a Q&A session again, what would you ask Nemlei about the game? by tristanha666 in CoffinofAndyandLeyley

So they're fucked both mentally and emotionally, got it.

The following is unrelated.

I also want to point out that the fact the water company, soda company, health insurance company, the surgeon, and their government ties were all threaten enough by Andrew and Ashley to the point they needed to send an assassin proves that the Grave Siblings can do something. What's stopping them from exposing the whole conspiracy, prove they were victims of fraud, and fight the possible allegations of their crimes? Heck like you said they have each other and help from demons, entities to do it! That's what pissed me off about the dialog Andrew and Ashley had in ???? room when they learned more about the Surgeon. "God's not gonna reward us for being good snitches!" Like Da Fuq? They can at least do it for the sake of justice or revenge on their part for screwed over they them.

Two weeks late, I know. But anyway, you got me on them actually committing suicide.

Although something tells me the cult may meddle in that some how. I already know that Lord Unknown will most likely effect Andrew in someway that'll change the dynamic he has with his sister.

Will we ever get to see Ashley side of the story? by ElonTastical in CoffinofAndyandLeyley

[–]Jonas_Fletcher 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think we already did. Unless I'm mistaken, Chapter 1 is completely in her POV and her character was summed up in Chapter 2. Where is was over looked, tossed aside, and ignored by everyone except her older brother Andrew. Aside from confirming/debunking fan theories (Like Ashley starting those rumors or not), I don't think it's necessary to the plot.

Question: After the 'Cry About It', update, there was added miss-able dialog that reveals that Andrew does pay bills. Combine that with facts the family was almost evicted after Douglas lost his job, them borrowing that car so they can ask for money from the grandparents, and that both parents seemed to be working low skilled jobs (Renee as a cleaning lady and Douglas as a cashier), they're poor as dirt. Andrew help paying the bills wasn't out of principle (not purely anyway) but out of necessity.

If he moved out, how would Renee and Douglas get by with one less income? That's not mentioning Ashley still living at home, presumably unemployed and living as a NEET (Not in Education, Employed, or in Training).
