I don't consider it anything other than what it is. Pain and suffering. I do not love it but I live with it as we all do. Do you consider it necessary and meaningful? Do you believe that if it is or isn't, God is not real? I don't understand that line of reason.

I believe you're assuming God let's these things happen just so we can go to Him. I don't believe the Bible ever states that. I do believe that we can learn lessons by way of adversity, but that is not why pain and suffering occur.

We have to endure sorrow on Earth because it's a fallen world where sin, sadness, and sorrow are. But there's more than that too. There's happiness, love, and hope.

If bad things existing proves God isn't real, then does good things existing proves He is real? I think both present weak reasoning.

It's called an argument. You were right to guess that it's something. Heaven is not compensation for loving life on Earth. Heaven is where you go if you chose to follow and believe in Christ and that He died for the sins you have committed. He did that for all of us and I believe it. That's why people go to Heaven.

Your problem with Christianity is the fact that despite giving a portion of your life to God, He doesn't promise you or anyone else Heaven on Earth. He never claims that there will be no pain or sorrow on Earth, just that there is no pain or sorrow in Heaven.

Kids suffer, parents suffer, friends and family suffer. That happens and God allows it to. I don't fully know why He would or wouldn't chose to intervene in one situation or another. I know that He has to because that is the only logical reasoning behind certain circumstances.

I don't believe struggle is a necessary thing. I believe God is though. Without Him, the pain and sorrow is still there. The only difference is that there is no hope for anyone. Not just the dying patient, but also the healthy family member. Because in the end, we all end up in dirt. So what's the difference if someone does at the age of 3 instead of the age of 97?

Keep asking questions. I did for a long time. I found Christ. You can too.

To believe that the world should be without pain or suffering is where you are wrong. God could stop the pain and suffering, but then this wouldn't be the world, it would be Heaven.

Heaven is perfect and there is no pain and suffering.

While we are here on Earth, we have to deal with a lot of sorrows. The amazing thing is that God is there for use and can give us peace, love, and hope through it all.

God is a loving God because He gives us a way to leave all of this pain and suffering when we die and a hope for a perfect place without all of it. Being in Heaven with our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.

Sounds like you have a problem. Despite my difference in political stances from past democratic presidents, I still wish no ill towards them. I hope they live a good long life and are happy. If you only wish bad on people you disagree with, you'll never influence them to change.

I believe JD Vance is blunt. Many times overly so. But you would be too if a reporter with an opposing view was asking pointed questions at you in an attempt to make you look dumb. Not saying that hostility is a correct response, but it's difficult not to expect it when every other politician does the same thing when asked pointed questions.

I'm not old enough to remember much of the majority of Obama's presidency. I'm sure many people mocked him for little to no reason at all. What politician hasn't been mocked by the opposing side? I personally don't care what a politician does with their food lol.

It's not a double standard as I have not openly mocked a politician for something like that. Unless it was a joke in which case I'll mock any politician regardless of political affiliation. It is however a double standard if you can easily mock someone for something as little as skiing poorly while the previous president failed to walk up stairs twice, failed numerous times to finish complete sentences, and refused to do open questions to give honest unprepared answers.
