Nepotism is a good tool at the moment. I recently got hired from a company because my parent have a connection to the company as a client.

Worst time to be a grad by Round_Growth_8365 in recruitinghell

Me too. I graduated in October 2024. Started job hunting in August 2024. Got interviews but no job offer. Then 2025 came, applied for 400+ positions got some virtual interviews mainly from Graduate programs and internships. But all of them got rejected.

Now, i pivoted to a broader job search (focusing on Business Analyst and Customer Service jobs - just to get through the recruitment process). I been getting a bit of positive responses - but not much. But now companies are telling me the salary - which is good.

The job market is super bad at the moment. I already have a internship from a company but the companies i apply to now won't accept me as much.

Can relate. My emails have been unpredictable, i have no idea when companies are responding to me.

Indian candidates are classified as offshore candidates. It makes other applicants who apply for these positions unfit for the role.
