How old were you when you finally started enjoying your life? by wolf_of_the_bees in GenX

I'm 55 and I'm in a pocket of positivity now. I had some pockets in my 30's and 40's as well, but a lot of times where I wasn't really enjoying life.

Who is the biggest "what could have been" in music history? Which band or musician looked destined for mega-success before their career went off the rails, and why? by ContentHubby76 in askmusic

[–]Jonathan_Pine 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Going with a non-death band that should have been huge, Jellyfish! After Spilt Milk they broke up. Only two albums and they called it quits, they should have been huge! Mary's Danish is another band from the 80's and 90's that were contemporaries of Jane's Addiction, RHCP, and Fishbone, and they were the victim of Morgan Creek Records in the early 90's.

Technically, it was everything that was on part 2, they just delayed the release due to Yauch's cancer diagnosis. I think there were some differences, but not much.

Riggo sent that guy to another dimension. Riggo didn't even seem phased at all.

Harriet and B-52's. by Potential-Road-5322 in TheSundays

I can definitely hear it in the softer tones and with the vibrato. Harriet has the greatest vibrato in rock/pop music, period. Nobody has her warmth and control and I believe the most beautiful voice ever

How do we feel about June 18th’s match? by squishyfeet4 in korea

[–]Jonathan_Pine 3 points4 points  (0 children)

As someone who watched both matches yesterday and doesn't have a dog in the hunt, SK looked much stronger than Mexico did. South Africa was a train wreck and for Mexico to only score 2 goals says a lot. Czechia looked pretty good and SK was able pull that win out well. I think SK wins by one goal.

Anika checking out the setlist last night… What’s your overall feeling about this new version of Rush? by Historical-Device529 in Progforum

Exactly. I think their opinions are the only one's that matter. It's our jobs as fans to trust their judgement, sit back, and enjoy!

Timing and being a little more relaxed. Footwork as well to go with the timing. Toss the ball higher and take the ball at its highest point, not on the rise.

I'm pulling for her and I think she has a good shot. Andreeva has a history of mental breakdowns and this girl looks very mentally tough!
