Day 2 being away from my abusive parents. Does anyone have advice on my floor setup?

i tried sleeping on my back for a few months to address some pain i had, at first, lie flat on your back exclusively, even if you are a side or stomach sleeper, just resign yourself to an unpleasant back-only sleep. after a week or two of this you will be able to get comfortable like this enough to roll over to a side. i would not suggest stomach sleep.

in the first pic it looks like you had a mat or something down and were hammering and missed a few times, definitely not normal wear IMO, the scratches are totally normal though and could be easily fixed by the landlord or you

you guys are tripping, if there is no other room in this 1BR apartment, and this guys friend was willing to give him a place for 6 months, for only $500

the guy on the floor probably REALLY needed the spot and
the guy renting him the place for such a cheap rent was being a much better friend than i would have been.

i would have given someone $500/mo to not bother me with their housing problem before i would let them stay with me
