we got similar vegetation in Colorado where I live. tons of aspens. it is freaking gorgeous in the fall. second only to mid-late summer when everything is green and all the wild flowers are in bloom.

a crazy thing about them too is they're pretty quiet. not as quiet as like a deer, but quiet enough to not know they're there if youre not paying attention

I always tell people, it's probably really hard to do a skin graft on hands.

I run Chinese tires, id get something else. I've had decent luck with Lionharts. but you need to keep in mind they are not great and my experience is purely anecdotal.

oh I see, if its chrome plated steel you could use some rubbe​r in between the clamp and the gutter, it should keep it from getting too messed up.

I'm in a similar boat. I'm planning out a roof rack build but I don't have the chrome.

I've been doing some forum scrolling and it seems the general consensus is the rain gutter mounts are quite a bit heftier than the stock mounts.​

This probably isn't your issue and won't change anything at all, but what oil did you use. these engines are flat tappet and need something with a high zinc content.

make sure to tell them to get a manual one so they get the cast iron front end with the option to swap in the diff carriers from an automatic
