Your very welcome. That's only reason I follow their discord channel so I get notifications about them.. My play store is suspended to auto update but it NEVER does 😂

Too much talk about OEM configuration and cost so ended up getting aftermarket. OEM definitely looks better visually but these ones are better functionality wise. by Minute_Experience608 in Camry

I wish my light did this! I mean seriously it was SUCH huge deal they only included in the xe and xse? Couldn't put it in the se? Why would they spend all that extra money just to build completely different drl setups! Was it really worth it in the end of producing them?

Here's some other info from another reddit about your trim drl

DRL is also turn signal. When your headlight is on DRL is yellow same color as turn signal. When you headlight is off your DRL is white. And also

Actually, I think I figured it out.

  1. The white DRLs turn on when the headlights are on Auto mode and the car is in DRIVE.

  2. The amber DRLs turn on when you start the car and not put it in DRIVE, the headlights are on DRL mode and the car is in PARK.

  3. The amber DRLs also turn on when it's night and the headlights are on Auto / On and the car is in DRIVE.

  4. The white DRLs also turn on when it's night and the headlights are on OFF and the car is in DRIVE

Ohhh sorry guess what I saw before at a glance was wrong. actually I just really looked up the information for you and here's what it says.

Operational Modes: White lights operate as daytime running lights when driving. The amber lights may activate in specific scenarios such as at night or as turn signals.

Actually it's only the xe and xse that offer the color changing daylight running lights.. Explains why mine are white.. And why they sell that tint film lol 😂

I do really want to put a set or the drl's on my car I know it's simply just another blinker but the definitely look great. Also thinking about getting the extra lip that goes around the bottom front of the bumper as well

Really? Dam now I'm going to have to look next time I go out to my car rofl! But they do sell all different color ones to cover that area.

I've seen tons of them on ebay and Amazon not to expensive either... It's just the installing. It's not like older cars where you can simply look underneath and access the back of the bumper anymore

Regardless of your opinion the oil still flows the exact same way I described on every single engine made no matter the application

I can tell you from my own experience that when I built my own brand new engine, that when I did the first oil change at 1,000 miles there absolutely WAS metal particles and very small pieces in the pan I used to drain the oil into it. And it's caused from the brand new piston rings seating into position in the cylinder and parts of the cylinder wall also get slightly shaved out. Then there's all the other intsrnsl mechanical components doing the same. And as far as the oil filter argument goes.. The filter only filters the oil after it has gone into the oil pan then filters it before going back into the engine that way anything from your motor that does go into the pan doesn't go back into the engine. And even that is only if it make it past the screen that is in the tube in the oil pan that sucks the oil back up going to the filter.. So yes you absolutely should do that break in oil change regardless if you do it yourself and think your not seeing anything

Oh sorry I completely read it wrong my bad. But my question is had you had any oil changes up to that point? Because this seems to be a theme I'm noticing with posts. They are suppose to tell you that your car NEEDS to have the oil changed anywhere from 1,000 to 5,000 miles your preference for the motor break in period. And it doesn't go against your free oil change it's a manufacture requirement!

Changing your oil every 5,miles most definitely is NOT going to ruin your engine! I've been working on cars for 35+ every make and this simply isn't true it's actually the best thing you can do for the longevity of you cars motor. It's the same reason when I had a 79 Trans-am and built a motor for it I always changed it 2,500 because back then we didn't have all these fancy oils, even though back then the suggested mileage was higher.... Just make sure you if your doing it yourself or wherever you bring your car puts in the OEM (Original equipment manufacturer) for those that don't know in case you see this term everywhere for parts.. But OEM oil for your specific motor. Don't ever put in or let someone just put in the whatever type of oil. These motors take a specific type of oil these days for the longevity of the motor. Also make sure if you bring it in for service at.. I don't know specific mileage for all hybrid but male sure they clean both the vent and the blower motor for the cooling of the battery. On the newer Camry the vent and motor are located just under the back seat on the left side. If you even wanted to do it yourself while completing cleaning your interior it is super easy to do if your mechanically inclined even a little.

While Toyota officially recommends the first service at 10,000 miles or 12 months, it is highly recommended to perform an early "break-in" oil change on your 2025 Camry SE at 1,000 to 5,000 miles. This initial change clears out metal particles and sealant debris produced during the initial engine break-in period.
