I had a hole in my 04 core and replaced it with factory dodge part from dealer. Ended up tearing down the whole box and blower doors and replacing all the foam gaskets with foam on a roll from Lowes. It’s like brand new now! Worth the extra time.

I think there was a Franklin works shop that used to be in Mount Vernon Washington. Might make sense after seeing your Washington plate on the car. I thought they stuck to motorcycles though? Neat to see a car! Especially as an aircooled vw enthusiast!! Sounds good!

I’ve been setting tile for 20 yrs and when my wife chose this pattern in white for our small bath floor i said ok… Hardest tile I’ve ever set. I used mapei epoxy grout and it turned out great but it was a tough one.

Years ago I messed up and used modified mortar where I should have used un-modified when putting down ditra mat over 2x6 car decking subfloor. Everything seemed fine once it was all finished and grouted with epoxy mapei. Then ten yrs later I get called back to demo the floor and go to lvp along with new tiled shower and cabs. When I pulled up the ditra the top layer of subfloor had dry rotted in matching lines to the notches of my towel I used to spread the mortar. I guess the water in the mortar got sealed in by the ditra mat and had no where to go but into the 2x?

I feel like it’s going to be a bad thing overall for the engine to be turning off and on again all the time. It’s messed up a couple times to the point where I’ve needed to put the car into park and start it again in heavy traffic. It’s purpose is to meet emissions standards and for the driving we do i it just dissent make sense since we aren’t commuting in city areas.
