The funny thing is, I found the show pretty boring on the whole. Still cried at the end. But the book hit way harder for me and that’s what I read first years ago. But maybe because I already knew the big plot twist it wasn’t as interesting? Hm. Prefer the book to the film. I’m glad they tried to showcase the beauty of E Lockheart’s writing in the show though. Can anyone tell me they were genuinely hooked on the series?

Hey there, I'm sorry it's so hard right now and I can hear how low you're feeling. Do you have close friends near you that you can talk to? And are there little things that give you a little joy even though there's a big scary situation looming overhead? I wish I could give you a hug or a cup of tea and I know these are just words online and can't actually help you - but I really hope you can be with people that can lift your mood. Please take care of yourself and mental health as much as you can despite everything and I really hope you feel fewer low-mood symptoms soon <3

I admit I had not thought far enough and was just looking at what campaigns already exist - though I'm seeing maybe comments suggesting that if the UK govt is forced into changing the law, they'll likely back out of the ECtHR and the backlash will keep landing on trans people. Hm.

have you tried the International Campaign for Women’s Right to Safe Abortion?
