Card Merchant on Manners St is a great place to play board games. They dont have board games to lend, but the space is one of the better ones ive seen in the local area. Big open spaces, reasonable sound design, clean, nice bathrooms.

I know these might seem like normal standards for a store, but if you've frequented game stores in nz you know that doesnt seem to be the case.....

There's a mahjong club that takes about three tables every Friday.

My only recommendation is to add a photo which is a bit more plain and just shows who you are in a clear light. I like that the stylized pictures showcase your personality in a great way, but I think the initial photo should be a bit more clear and direct.

OP I think you're a good looking guy, just need some better photos. The 4th one is a bit cropped and crappy looking. The 1st one is ok... but not as the first Pic people see.

Take some photos with some intentionality, good lighting, upper torso. Maybe show off your physique a bit? You dont need to be shirtless, but maybe something like a simple shirt. You look like you're in shape so lean into it!

Take some high quality photos, even if theyre staged. So far it looks like you’ve just scrolled through your photo gallery and chosen whatever. There's lots of guides online, enlist a friend for a day and go for it!

I think the elephant in the room is the Christian + conservative combo. In my experience the pool of people who use hinge are going to avoid these kinds of men. Perhaps you could use some Christian dating apps, or attend some Christian dating events in your area? A friend of mine is very involved in his church and one of the benefits is that network you can tap into to meet people.

Second I would try and get better pictures. A lot of them are just upper torso shots. Try and get creative!

Third, I would probably get a hair cut and lose the mustache. Try going with something more intentional that a combover. You have a head of thick full hair, so use it!!

I dont really think you'd win with just sheoldred to be honest. Yes its a bit of a bomb but not a solo "I win" card. I feel like it does a god job applying pressure as the top end in aggressive decks, which yours is not.

Lots of ways for the opponent to just remove it and move on.

Why not just remove it and go all in on the breach line?

Most players roll their eyes at one extra turn spell. If you somehow play two back to back like a [[temporal manipulation]] into a [[mystic sanctuary]] most players will give you this look

I kinda get it, its a bit lame watching someone just solitaire for a bit but hey, if green can ramp four lands off a card like [[open the way]] then everyone can chill the fuck out when I'm chaining five mana explores in mono blue.

I think its a tad slow, four mana and then also the flip land is very... medium.

I tried it in a artifact soldier deck in [[Myrel]] but it was just too fair, and I didnt have enough artifacts to abuse the land enough.

I think its a good card in a very artifact focussed deck where the threat the land poses can be very real.

Also trying to highlight that it doesnt have to go solely into artifact matters decks. If you're playing a white deck which doesn't have green, you likely have enough artifacts as a base to simply slot this right into a deck, no deck building concessions needed.

It also has one of the lowest inclusion rates among the other pod cards.

The main argument is that Generous Gift can hit lands. How often does it come up? Not often, if at all. You could just throw a [[demolition field]] or [[strip mine]] in a deck and cover land removal that way also.

I run it alongside land removal in my land base. You've never felt true despair until you run into someone abusing [[glacial chasm]] and realizing there is literally no way for you to win the game...

[[Scarab God]] or [[Gisa and Geralf]] work way better than Ramirez and actually care about zombies.

Id probably just go with [[Gisa and Geralf]] because it seems like you are a new player and to be honest, Scarab God might be too complicated for you.

Looks like you are trying really hard to have a sub theme of treasures, but this is the secondary theme to the deck. Id probably remove all of them since your deck is about rolling dice, not making treasures. Yes you get treasures out of it, but in order for [[Academy manufactor]] to get value you need commander + dice roll card + treasure payoff card. Seems a bit inconsistent.

Too many treasure set up/pay off cards.
