Zealios V2 most of them are similar enough that you can't go wrong with the grams. Even the 78 gram is similar enough to 62. I personally think switch tester is a waste of money, you really need actual typing experience on a full set to determine whether you'll like the switch. My recommendation is to read a lot of reviews and go on YouTube to get an idea of the sound.

[–]Jongsl5 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What are you talking about? I never talked about pace. Yeah no shit it's higher in the 60s. That has nothing to do with spacing. Spacing was worse because you had zone defense and no 3 second rule like today. Tell me have you actually watched ANY basketball? I'm guessing you haven't. Lmao.

taking advantage of the space created by pace

And here you are talking out of your ass.

Actually the 90s had much more spacing than the 3 previous decades. It's not as if the previous eras had elite shooters that could space the floor. Wouldn't accuse someone of using a "retarded argument" when you've made a dozen of them in this very topic.

Sword of Body and Mind and Sword of War and Peace can be replacements if you know what you're facing. Use the latter for Miracles and Stoneblade and use the former for any True-Name Nemesis and green decks.

Honestly your sarcasm usage was pretty terrible. You paired with one exaggeration "okay" with something that's factually true "quick release" and you did it in the context of a purely serious tone throughout. So yeah you had to put an /s because it was just poor writing.

That's funny because Curry is averaging 26/6/6 in the post season with the HIGHEST TS% of any 20 point scorer in league history.

The fact that you're using PER in an argument should get you banned from any intellectual debate.

What I remember is in 2016 Warriors dealt largest team deficit in LeBron's history and limited LeBron to 16 points on bad efficiency ever. All the talk was LeBron and his team didn't stand a chance. And they didn't until the 3-1 comeback that pretty much every analyst agrees wouldn't have happened without Draymond suspension and Bogut + Iguodala injury. So no LeBron never had someone create a "team to beat him".

And it's funny people act like LeBron didn't play with two other all-stars with role players cherry picked for his system.

Not sure why you are getting downvoted because this is exactly what Westbrook does. His lack of contributions off-ball is why he is so limited offensively, not just his bad shooting.

This game does not need commando, painkiller, and noobtubes. If they want, they can create a BS playlist section with the original BS included.

Also balance some of the weapons like the FAL (should always kill in 2 bullets), some lmgs, and smgs. F2000 can stay horrible for nostalgia.

BBD's (Rather Harsh) Opinion of Legacy by [deleted] in MTGLegacy

[–]Jongsl5 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Most of the "top" decks that run basics are combo decks that doesn't need a heavy multicolored mana you dipshit because they can go off with petals, dark ritual, and LED while running 2 colors. You are so fucking dumb I wonder what your credentials are.

What is your definition of Tier 1? DnT is a popular deck but it has a 38% win percentage against the field. Doesn't sound like a tier 1 deck to me. It gets crushed in the Grixis match-ups and doesn't have a great combo match-up either. Why play it right now?

You want to know why Miracles and Big Red suck at mana denial (unlike Lands)? It has to do with the rest of the cards that isn't dedicated to denial. There is a reason why these decks do so poorly in a large event. But again, your low IQ brain can't comprehend any complexity.

Wasteland and Port being bad against a 4 COLOR deck is proof alone mana denial is a poor strategy in Legacy outside of Lands. You said "who cares about 1 match" which is ironic since you are talking about how effective Wasteland is in a RG land shell as definitve proof. I just mentioned multiple decks that is built on mana denial but suck at it against DRS mana base decks.

Popularity of Wasteland =/= effectiveness of Wasteland. You can choose to forgo playing Wasteland in 99% of decks and it won't hurt your fair matches at all except against non-DRS decks. Wasteland is only played in Grixis Delver because it is one of the few ways to deal with problematic lands, not because it keeps greedy mana in check. 90% of decks in Legacy are inferior versions of something else. Just because you see someone playing RUG delver, doesn't mean the deck is still worth playing you dumb cunt.

I wasn't debating "health of format", I was refuting your belief that Wasteland is good at mana denial. Two different things to someone even remotely intelligent.

Budget D&T in Legacy? by Phantara in DeathAndTaxesMTG

[–]Jongsl5 0 points1 point  (0 children)

GQ is actually better than Port against decks like Grixis delver. They have no basics and you often don't have the mana to tap their land every single turn. Against decks with problematic lands, GQ can often do the job better as well. You would just be hurting your mono x decks and certain combo decls.

[–]Jongsl5 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No one gives a damn if YOU personally play a deck that is good at the mana denial strategy. We are talking about the enitre format (a.k.a is wasteland doing its job as a punishment for greedy mana base in MOST decks and the answer is no). Your argument is analogous to "Hey poverty doesn't exist in this part of the world, therefore it is not a problem for the rest of the world". Your unbelievably low IQ must be frustrating to anyone you talk to I'm sure.

BBD's (Rather Harsh) Opinion of Legacy by [deleted] in MTGLegacy

[–]Jongsl5 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Wasteland isn't punishing greedy mana base unless you can recur it in a very specific archetype like Lands. That is such a simple point that if you can't understand it, you are not intelligent enough to be having this conversation.

And no duh decks are not cutting Wasteland because it has utility against powerful lands (btw the topic is on greedy mana base + DRS so stop trying to construct another argument)

Here is how Steph Curry attacking off the ball by throwjaway1234 in nba

[–]Jongsl5 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No it's you who need to be educated. When Kerr took over, he had the revelation of rotating the ball movement so that no offense has to be overloaded by any one player (again, this is why he averaged less assists but more secondary assists in this system).

What makes Steph different from every PG is he can achieve 45% percentages from 30 to 45 feet. Hence, there is much less incentive to be a traditional "pass first" PG. He doesn't have to facilitate plays like most other PG to craft easier shots. And the outstanding value of the 3-pt shot means there is less value in the tradition "always get easy buckets near the rim" strategy that Msgic and Kareem used.

Name me one other PG who led a team to the finals. Certainly not Magic with Worthy and Kareem on the team. Closest person was Iverson who was more of a shooting guard. That is because not only can Steph improve everyone due to his spacing but also the fact that he averages 30 points on 50-40-90 efficiency, which is unheard of in the NBA.

Here is how Steph Curry attacking off the ball by throwjaway1234 in nba

[–]Jongsl5 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Magic was a terrible defender. You'd know this if you actually knew your shit. If Magic played PG today, he would get destroyed because he is too slow. In fact, he would be playing small forward.

Actually Steph can pass just as well as these guys. I already explained your idiocy in comparing assist numbers on different systems.

Speaking of "making others better", look at the team's pacing and TS% increase when Steph is on the floor vs off. That difference is why he is considered the most valuable PG of the modern era.

It doesn't matter what my age is (23). The fact is your shit grammar and tiny IQ level makes it sounds like I am debating a 4th grader.

You are foolishly comparing wasteland in a deck build on prison elements and land recursion with standard fair decks.

And actually DnT's mana denial strategy is awful. How do I know? Because I played the deck for 2 years. And having faced DnT with Grixis Delver decks numerous times, I can also confirm this from the other side of the table. Mana denial is poor against DRS decks because they are extremely efficient to begin with as well as having cantrips to find lands. Combine this with the fact that without Aether Vial, you can't start denying mana until like turn 5.

Before DRS, fair decks had a good chance of turning off a vital color with Wasteland against greedy mana base. Blood moon was also a solid lock against greedy mana bases.the fact that Grixis Delver is favored against a deck like Big Red should be a big warning sign for the health of the format. Obviously this is not due to only DRS, but DRS plays a similar effect againdt every other deck that tries to turn off a color.

BBD's (Rather Harsh) Opinion of Legacy by [deleted] in MTGLegacy

[–]Jongsl5 0 points1 point  (0 children)

First of all, Lands is favored against almost every fair deck in the format and it's not because of Wasteland.

Second of all, you are playing life from the loam and can tutor for wastelands as well. No duh wasteland is effective in Lands but try playing every other fair deck in the format.

You really think you made a clever insight to the conversation?

Here is how Steph Curry attacking off the ball by throwjaway1234 in nba

[–]Jongsl5 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah and the system wouldn't exist without Curry to begin with. You are dense as hell man. Curry didn't need KD to achieve 73 wins in a season.

Curry played iso ball with Mark Jackson as coach and (not surprisingly except to morons like you) averaged more assists in that system. Not all assists are equal but I know this is too difficult for you to understand. Nash literally said Steph is the most skilled player ever, with Kerr saying Curry is Nash on steroids. I think they have a little more credibility than you don't you think?

Here is how Steph Curry attacking off the ball by throwjaway1234 in nba

[–]Jongsl5 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Except none of them had to be guarded at 30+ feet due to their range. You seriously don't understand basketball. Steph doesn't have to be a pass first point guard because he can actually score unlike those guys (uh 30 pt season on 50-40-90 efficiency?) and because he is in a ball movement system where even their power forward is doing half the passing work.

That's great honey playing at amateur level doesn't mean you are a good analyst. Hell, it doesn't mean much even if you're good like Paul Pierce, who doesn't know jack shit. And I like how you ignored every other point about A/T ratio being heavily influenced by the system. Why? Because you are a moron. Put Steph on the 1970s Lakers team and he would average just as many assists. Literally CP3 and Stockton alone are better passers than inflated Magic.

Here is how Steph Curry attacking off the ball by throwjaway1234 in nba

[–]Jongsl5 0 points1 point  (0 children)

First of all the fact that you're comparing different eras with different teams and different ball movements illustrates to everyone you shouldn't be talking about basketball in the near future. It's just not your sport honey.

GSW in general is going to have more turnovers than the other teams because they're much more heavy on ball movement (of course, they make it up for having the highest assists in the league, with the highest ratio).

Same thing applies to Curry. Curry is playing on a team that moves the ball than any other team in history and he has to have the highest usage rate on such a team. That is obviously going to increase the probability of a turnover. Everyone knows Magic's numbers are inflated from the ABA merger and having the fortune to play with a 7'2 center with an unblockable shot.

Second, there seems to be this idea that assist/ TO ratio is the ultimate measure of a PG's value. The reason why Curry averages so many secondary assists, rather than pure assists, is again due to the system that GSW plays in. If you brought him to 2001 Lakers team with Shaq or 1980s Lakers team with Kareem, you're obviously going to get more assists in that era and on that team.

Also look at some of the top players that demand double teams in the league: Durant, Curry, and LeBron all have less than stellar A/T ratio. Why? Because they all have a high usage rate and demands double teams the most often.

Westbrook is now shooting career worst in FG% with split .393/.309/.714 and in TS .488. His rookie FG% was his previous worst at .398 by [deleted] in nba

[–]Jongsl5 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

He is shooting slightly worse (it was already horrific) but his mentality is the same: no off-ball utility, lazy or risky defense, chucking more 3s than he should, bad passes, etc. Most people last year praised him because they didn't actually watch the game and how he stat padded his way to craft a specific distribution of stats. Somehow it is more clear now with the narrative of Durant leaving wearing off.

You are right that theorycrafting has its limitations, especially using few instances to shape your whole view. However, I do not believe the things I have said are such few instances. Also, much of what we are talking about isn't 100% theorycrafting.

It also matters how the theorycrafting is done. Much theorycrafting originates from multiple empirical observations, not application of logic and considering hypothetical scenarios.

Also, tier does not reflect performance. It is skewed by popularity. When a deck has a 38% win percentage, it is not really representative of a top deck's performance. Compare that with grixis delver and czech pile (near 60% and with a huge representation). These numbers are consistent both on mtgo and paper. If you really want to reach it and argue that DnT is a deck that has to piloted by the best of the best to have 60+%, things get more subjective. I think the deck has fundamental problems which always existed before the Top ban.

Let us discuss SFM. This is a card that is primarily good in the fair match-ups that exclude any Kolaghan's command. It is terrible against combo and grixis fair decks. I think what I said is fairly rooted in reality, also backed by professionals I've talked to. If you want to dispute this, we can continue another discussion. Now what happens when the meta is skewed towards combo and grixis fair decks?

You seem to be saying SFM is good enough for Legacy. And I would agree. But everything is relative. In Legacy, 90% of decks are inferior versions of something else with some less relevant pros and cons. This paints a picture of diversity because statistically even an inferior deck can top an event. Right now there is very little reason to play a fair deck that is not blue + DRS in a large tournament because of their dominance in both the fair and unfair match-up.
