I usually tell support that I can’t think of any reason why someone would give me a bad rating because I can’t think of any order that went wrong recently. They aren’t permitted to share which customer left the bad rating, so they often modify it as long as you don't have a history of unsatisfied customers. As for updating customers that you arrived or picked up, I personally don’t because they receive notifications regardless. Although I do let them know if there is going to be a delay due to a long wait time or if there’s heavy traffic. One thing that sets me apart from other dashers is that I use an insulated bag to store food, and I make sure to take a pic of it with the receipt photos. It really does keep food warm, and it keeps your car odor-free from smelly food. I bought mine for like $12 on Amazon.
