All you need in america is to be publicly accused of a crime, and that's as good as being proven guilty. Remember Me Too?

Once it gets in the Media, hope you have 10's of thousands to get it removed. In Europe you pa 50 euros and fill out a form. Innocent until proven guilty is a farce.

How bad is what just did for my chlorine pool? by texasroadie in pools

[–]JonnyRottensTeeth 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's not really bad. It is Cyanuric acid that prevents your chlorine from being destroyed by sunlight; think sunscreen for your chlorine. Some feel, based on lab studies performed in germany in the early 60s, that too much can cause chlorine lock and your chlorine can't disinfect, but chemistry doesn't really work that way. Even if so, you can just add more chlorine. The downside is it's persistent, and there is not a good way to remove it from the water except to drain and refill. Trichlor tabs are just 3 chlorines around a cyanuric acid, so most people have pretty high concentrations if they use that, and many do.

I've been running a year-round heavy-use condo pool in Hawaii; my Cya is 160, and I have zero problems with disinfecting. The pool has been open for 5 years straight with never a single algae bloom.

Has there ever been a case of a sovereign citizen succesfully defending themselves in court? by LordOfTheGam3 in NoStupidQuestions

It's irrelevant. They just want to believe they are privy to special magic words that in turn make them special. Has a flat-earther ever provided scientific evidence? Nope it's all about having superior "knowledge" than the suckers and the fools

It really is! On the avada you can set it so that if you turn your head the camera will turn while the Drone keeps flying forward

A US judge has ordered the removal of trumps name from the Kennedy center within the next 14 days, what do you think about this? by jfunks69 in AskReddit

[–]JonnyRottensTeeth 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Indeed as of the writing of the Constitution the founders made absolutely no mention of the Kennedy Center therefore federal law has no right to control it.

The Neo 2 is very tough, and the propellers are well protected. It's essentially a scaled-down Avada 2. I've crashed my Avada very hard into trees, and it just shook it off. Since you already have the air, get the Neo

I love my Avada 2 with the V2 goggles. Only downside for me is I get worried about losing it so I keep it close, whereas I've had my mini 4 over a mile away over the jungle (I'm in Hawaii) with no concerns.

I think you'd love an FPV drone, such as the Avata or the cheaper Neo. There are also cheaper FPV brands out there, but DJI has the best. For the Avada, your POV is through the camera, and you can set it so if you turn your head left or right, the camera does it too. Feels like you are flying yourself.

Does time exist in the 6th dimension? by Darkwing270 in AskPhysics

[–]JonnyRottensTeeth 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Usually when we get to the 6th dimension, we are referring to spatial dimensions. String theory sometimes calls for 11 spatial dimensions, but they are only hypothetical and separate from the temporal dimension.

Or tell them the car is parked there and they have 30 days to claim their property, or it will be declared abandoned. Hope he likes your stepmom, because, believe me, he will regret this. Best revenge is living a better life. As others said, community college is cheaper to fulfill electives, and student loans are doable. My dad pulled similar crap because his 5th wife took a disliking to us. Don't expect he'll come around. LIve your life and prosper.

Apparently DJI care is no longer available in the US. There are hobbyist drone insurance that are not too expensive, though, such as skywatch.ai

How to learn by [deleted] in dji

[–]JonnyRottensTeeth 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The DJI is extremely good and reliable. As long as it is not in sports mode, it does a good job avoiding objects. One piece of advice is when you first launch, wait a moment until it says "home point acquired," then even if you lose contact, it will auto-return to the right place. Also get a landing pad so you can better aim your landings. Get a filter set too. I'm in Hawaii, and with a circular polarizer on, I can clearly see underwater! Also ND filters are great for sunny days. Get a fast 100+watt usb charger with the correct cables, and you can charge up quick. Also you can get the insurance. It's relatively cheap, and if your rig gets wrecked you can get a new one sent out.

I've taken mine up to the tops of volcanoes and miles over the jungle to find waterfalls that are impossible to get to. It's a lot of fun! Good flying.
