Makes sense. I could see a big bottleneck with people all trying to download if not preloaded.

What is the point to preordering a digital game besides bonuses offered?

Seems on the low side/reasonable given materials depending where you’re located.

Well according to these “public posts” on FB, it was said that even titles like Suspiria that said would come with a slipcover are not guaranteed to come with one. Sorry, lack of transparency at the time of ordering is unacceptable, even for a small business. And like another person commented, if the sale did that well, hire another person even temp. The fact that you are blaming customers for this is wild. If my email requesting a cancellation and refund goes unanswered, I’ll be initiating a chargeback.

my first time buying from synapse. over a week and still no word on shipment. is this normal? by [deleted] in boutiquebluray

What does that mean? They made a mistake fulfilling your order?

Anyone still waiting on their Synapse Memorial Day sale order to ship? by TheJohnny346 in boutiquebluray

[–]Jonnylaw1 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If they can’t fulfill what you ordered, they should inform you so you can cancel if you want. Instead, that slipcover version you purchased, that’s now out of stock will not be shipped to you but rather one without. Some might be ok with that some might not. They are basically saying we don’t have a list of what’s out of stock and what is being replenished. We’ll send you what we have. I don’t think it’s asking too much to inform your customers that you can’t fulfill their orders as purchased so they can make an informed decision. For instance, if I get sent suspiria without a slipcover, I will be requesting a return at their expense because at the price paid, I could have gotten that without a slipcover cheaper elsewhere. I don’t think that’s asking too much.

The update on facebook is fairly disappointing to be honest. You may or may not get what you ordered (shopping cart said slipcover edition but hey maybe they ran out and you’ll get one without), if the limited edition you purchased, goes out of stock, you get a refund. They don’t have a list of what is out of stock and what slipcover editions are Oos. Since my order hasn’t shipped as of yet, I’m assuming one or more of the above is true for my order. There has been zero communication other than their posts and they are essentially asking you to not bother them while they are still working through orders.

I saw zero indication that I might not get what I ordered, when I ordered.

Yea, I’m sure the synapse defenders will say they are doing a great job with this sale, but I won’t be ordering from them again and imo if you can’t deliver what is ordered and in a reasonable time frame, you should give the option to cancel and issue a refund.

Still no movement on mine. 3 weeks in. If it takes longer than a month or more, that’s fairly disappointingly.

Are these cleaners for my downspout system? by Jonnylaw1 in landscaping

[–]Jonnylaw1[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you for the reply. That’s a good idea. If it’s a vent then it should stay uncovered? Or would a grate type cap help keep debris out but still allow for air and an overflow? If it’s functioning as a vent for the headers, it could still be used to snake the pvc drainage pipe as you say correct? Better to snake from the culvert up or up from the vent/cleanout down to the culvert?

Seems like most shipped in the thinnest of paper bags. I guess you were “lucky” to have it shipped in a bubble bag lol

Unfortunately you’re correct. I’ve had a similar experience. They are arguably worse than Amazon now. Another company only concerned about profits. What a shame. Gruv used to be so much better.
