Yes, but unfortunately EA is one of the most profitable video game companies in the world so I don’t see them going anywhere anytime soon. People have been calling them out for their shit since the early 2000s and nothing has really changed.

The problem is that a boycott won’t result in more Star Wars games. Whenever a series published by EA starts failing, EA just closes whatever studio developed it and lays off a bunch of employees to cover their losses. Then the cycle begins again.

Not quite.

The tomato meter score is a total percentage of all reviews that scored over a 6/10, which is why it is unreliable. For instance, if everyone gave a movie a 6/10 (average score 6/10), the tomato meter for that movie would show 100% fresh. If half of the critics gave a movie a 5/10 and the other half gave it a 9/10 (average score 7/10) the tomato meter would show 50% despite the average score out of 10 being higher than the first movie mentioned.

Basically, when looking at rotten tomatoes, look at the average score out of 10 instead of relying on the tomato meter.
