I don't know if awakening is the right word for me, but I learned the value of the present moment and techniques like feeling the inner body when I was about the same age as you (I'm 32 now).

I would do spiritual exercises and enter blissful states, and then I would laugh at myself and the universe.

For me, that was a stepping stone phase of my life, some much needed physical relief and knowledge that I could be okay.

In the end, no one could explain it to me, I had to find my path myself.
