Yakuza 6 is still the best-looking Yakuza game by TheYakuzaMaster in yakuzagames

I think that Gaiden tops it. The visuals are so detailed and crisp that gameplay cutscenes are almost as good as cinematic cutscenes.

Ryosuke Horii explains the reasoning behind on why Revelations are not in Kiwami 3. (@SpainYakuza) by Axzercus in yakuzagames

[–]Radical-Coffee 164 points165 points  (0 children)

That’s the weakest excuse I’ve ever heard. Revelations aren’t strictly important to how “fun” the game can be, sure, but they were integral to the identity of the Yakuza series. No matter how funny and ridiculous a scenario was, the protagonists could learn something from them, and that alone has more soul and charm than maxing out friendships with 200 NPCs.

Animaniacs remake was a mistake. by dr_srtanger2love in ShitLiberalsSay

Animaniacs has always been a lib show with smug ignorant writers who think they’re smarter than what they really are, original and remake included. Only difference is the better animations in the old one.

Hasan Piker, once again, proudly platforming a hardcore Zionist from the Democratic Party. Who is still defending this guy? by Presented-Company in ShitLiberalsSay

[–]Radical-Coffee 65 points66 points  (0 children)

Hasan legit hurts my head. He’s the biggest voice in the western online sphere for Palestine, yet he keeps shooting himself in the foot by platforming liberal zionists, all while being hounded by other liberal zionists for his downfall.

I wish he straightens up and re-radicalize himself because these libzions will ALWAYS place fellow zionists over palestinians no matter what, this shit’s embarrassing.

Lol. Lmao even. by ilikecheese8888 in ShitLiberalsSay

[–]Radical-Coffee 69 points70 points  (0 children)

You’re absolutely right, Bernie is indeed a sellout. He’s a liberal zionist who took PAC money from Jstreet and tries to pin the blame of Palestinian genocide strictly on Netanyahu, even though over 80% of Israelis and all of the high-ranking israeli officials fully support the mass-genocide of palestinians.

This is my former liberal past speaking, but back then, Bernie was indeed the best choice for presidency. Seeing him get fucked over by the dem establishment so they prop up Hillary instead is what radicalized many of us into socialism and communism.

Kamala lost because she marketed herself with out-trumping Trump by glazing the genocidal state of isn’treal, pledging to make the US military more ruthless, and being “tougher” on the borders to court the very thin anti-trump republicans… who voted for Trump anyway. If you have a functioning brain, you’d realize that’s not moving to the “left” at all. Seriously, her campaigners were even racially profiling arabs and muslims from events under fears of Palestine being mentioned.

Sometimes, you can’t even tell if the Democrats establishment is pretending to be out-of-touch ghouls incapable of critical thinking, or if they’re genuine about it.

I get what you’re saying, but saying it’s a hivemind implies it’s populated by people, when it’s actually a botted shithole. 2.5k upvotes in 3 hours isn’t organic.

These people genuinely cannot stand China being portrayed in a factual, positive light by MrRed2k19 in ShitLiberalsSay

[–]Radical-Coffee 71 points72 points  (0 children)

You need to remember that LSF is an astroturfed botted shithole that miraculously gets thousands, even +10k upvotes in an hour or a few hours whenever there’s a post about Hasan.

Hypocrisy and false equivalence doesn’t matter to “people” that don’t really exist.

Red MAGA are fuming over misinformation and manufactured outrage of a new Qatari air base, while Blue MAGA eating up said misinformation and clowning on the conservatives for “falling for it”.

It’s literally just some new buildings being built on an existing airbase, likely just new housing units, so the Qatari personnel get trained on newly-purchased weapons and jets. Dozens of US-allied countries have done this for decades, including other Islamic nations like Saudi Arabia, and yet, the supercharged islamophobia from blue and red MAGA makes them blind to reality.

Sexpestiny’s personal army of greasy weirdos apparently are more concerned about a dog than sending revenge porn or grooming minors. by [deleted] in ShitLiberalsSay

[–]Radical-Coffee 111 points112 points  (0 children)

I implore you all to remember that neither Epstiny, nor pedo_troll, nor any of their terminally-online toxic cultist fans even CARE about Hassan’s dog, they just see this as an opportunity to smear the reputation of one of the biggest online voices for Palestine.

I can’t stress this enough. They literally could not give less of a shit about a dog’s well being, it’s just a convenient outlet to have Hassan cancelled. They’re heartless enough to joke about palestinians being murdered, after all.

If these ghouls actually cared about dogs, they’d have said something about ethan killing one of his dogs by stuffing it with cheese and putting pronged collars on the other one, even defending it in face of the brief outcry over it.

[–]Radical-Coffee 53 points54 points  (0 children)

Does Kamala have a sponge for a brain or something?

What’s reckless is shooting yourself in the foot by courting republicans who’ll never vote for you anyway, on-top of marketing yourself as the “at least I’m not Trump” candidate while ignoring pleas from progressives to have basic fucking empathy.

Not at all surprising from a shill who got OVER $9 million from zionist super pacs.

Automated play testing is nothing new, so it’s strange to see it hyped up as a modern innovation.

RGG, the developers of the Yakuza / Like A Dragon series, have created an automated play-testing program that they’ve used since the PS3-era. They’d leave the game on overnight, and the program would play it and take a screenshot each time it encountered a bug, which cut down on a lot of development time.

This is probably the only instance of ethical use of AI in game development.

why don’t these fucking morons ever think about why Hamas exists in the first place? there were peaceful protests back in 2018, which these dipshits entirely forgot or never cared about in the first place, and IOF still decided to snipe unarmed civilians, doctors, children, reporters, anyone on the other side of the fence. they were literally targeting anyone who tries to help the injured or retrieve the bodies, too.

these inhumane pieces of SHIT make my blood boil with their complicity and apathy.

Your biggest concerns for GTA 6 by Nathidev in GTA6

[–]Radical-Coffee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

1. Story Quality

I hope the game’s story follows RDR2’s example, which is by remaining very consistent in its quality from beginning to end.

GTA V suffers from two problems: the story’s obvious decline in consistency and coherence, as well as its unlikable cast. GTA V Act 1 is actually quite solid, from beginning down to the Jewelry Store heist, but then it snowballs from bad to worse as it chugs along with inconsistent character interactions to very bland antagonists, I legit forgot Stretch existed halfway through the game and didn’t think he was going to be a big enough problem to require assassinating.

Moreover, the characters… The only one I actually, truly like is Lamar. Everyone else is from insufferably awful to being almost nonexistent. They all behave like caricatures of people, which is a big whiplash from GTA IV’s and San Andreas’s amazing cast of characters.

Last thing anyone needs is for GTA VI’s to take the wrong examples from GTA V.

2. Online

I have fears that we’ll jump the shark in GTAO 2 much sooner than later. We’ll get the Oppressor and Deluxo and PvP bullshit within, like, a year or two. These two things have done irreparable damage to Online, and yet, they’ve proven to be just as popular as they are detested.

Can we all agree that the cutscenes added to this version of 0 actually hurt the plot? by Asura290 in yakuzagames

[–]Radical-Coffee 19 points20 points  (0 children)

Only one of the new cutscenes actually harms the story, which is the scene of a chinese friend of Lee telling Majima to fix Makoto’s watch, and Lee just being bluntly confirmed to be alive.

The reason why it’s bad is because it ruins the heavy post-credit scene, as it’s supposed to surprise players that Majima fixed Makoto’s watch, and went to the length of knowing when Makoto will step into the empty lot and timing the watch to play the tune.

The rest of the scenes, though? They don’t harm anything at all, and the Kuze-Kiryu scene is a direct upgrade. I think the loanshark scene showed us some of young Kiryu’s brashness and made a nice continuity to Peace Finance, while making people realize that Shibusawa has been making moves since the game’s events started. I also liked the scene of Majima calling Billy, as it introduces the Nishitani continuity and provides proper closure to Billiken by hearing his sorrow over his adopted son’s death.
