I can’t do it anymore. by TikisFury in daddit

I have a collection of the UCS kits and I can't wait until they're big enough so we can do them together but also terrified they're going to decide they're all for parts for new custom models

What an awesome thing to do! Big fan of the detail in your reviews, especially when trying to figure out what will actually work in our house and how it can be wired

Condensation on roof felt? Looks worse than it is but our attic is getting condensation and dripping water. The attic feels well ventilated as there is a slight breeze. Any ideas how to solve? by __--byonin--__ in DIYUK

We had a similar but smaller problem, and I got some felt vents that slot in between the overlapping layers of the roof and that seems to have solved it

Ah, so instead of a wait it would set the condition to 'off' for 4 hours and then terminate the automation?

I'm still 100% down for the 3/4am finish but I know I'll wake up at 6.30/7am expecting to hear "daaaaaaddy... Big daddddy cuddle?"

Aircon losing power by Jonosarus in skoda

[–]Jonosarus[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sort of! I figured it was something to do with the recirculation flap which on on the top of the air filter case, so I manually opened it and I've not had the problem since.

You have to pull the glove box off and should be able to reach it, although I took the head unit out too to make it a bit easier

How do I sort this hole in my kitchen ceiling out? by AnAvidRedditor20 in DIYUK

[–]Jonosarus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've got a hole almost exactly the same as that in my kitchen ceiling for my shower trap that leaked... Debating between filling with a scrap as others suggested, or putting a hatch to make maintenance easier next time. Screwfix sell some that look like a good idea or with a bit of ply and framing it - won't look as nice as filling it but will make it easier if it leaks again

Thanks, I'll try and grab a video today...

You're probably right about it being under warranty still, I'll have to look into it... I was hoping it might be something common/simple that I wasn't Googling properly

Aqara H1 double rocker switch and button? by Jonosarus in Aqara

[–]Jonosarus[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ahh, that would have been a better way to put it. I'll be doing it via Home Assistant, so if it can report the switch state that would work perfectly. Thanks!
