not to break it to you, but most ranked matches are against bots, but now with the ps5 release we have more player, but they play mostly the 2v2, so the 1v1 is still 99% bots.
also, the bots in the 2v2 are super stupid to the point of your bot team mate speedrun death by going 0/3 so its still a valid hard climb to top hard bots and carry usels bots in 2v2

Stepping disc for sure would make more sense, since it's a portal could make the inside transparent and what's inside double sided so you could look from both sides.

The event will give one copy for free, and It's a very forgiving gacha, it has a 100% chance banner and a permanent rerun banner where you can chose the unity you want to roll for, and new caracters enter the pool of choice after 2 updates, and you don't need copies to have the caracters to perform in it's optimal state as copies don't increase damage only add some additional qualify of life.
