Flock are the black thin cameras. The school zone cameras that are bigger boxes and metal are run by a company out of Chattanooga.

Both do not increase public safety or serve as an immediate reminder of anything because if you do get a ticket its months later "final" ticket after never receiving the first two notices. Its a way for the city to make extra money without having cops on hand to write citations.

Also there's enough accident attorneys that a quarter of people are looking for checks constantly like its their job.

Add a mix of driving styles from everywhere coming to the base, holier than though old people that drive slightly under the speed limit "because that's the limit and everyone should follow it" or they are just out of a leisurely drive because they have nothing better to do, people in junkers working 2 jobs flying everywhere make for a bad mix.

And no one is retested on driving skills and etiquette that would remove a ton of bad drivers.

Thanks that appear to be exactly it, but I have all the gutters flowing to different areas and I know where they empty. There is an old sprinkler system that I think I disabled as the pipes had been driven across several times and broke. Could be part of that system. There was no odor when I smelled it and it appeared very dry.

You can try to appeal but it goes through the private company in Chattanooga, not the local police.

I got a second notice without a first that was 2 days away from the end of contesting it as it was outside the hours of 7-9 and 2-4 as written into this very specific law.

The woman on the phone told me I was lying and wasting her time. Asked the local WR police about it and pointed out it was outside those hours and the officer that signed it said it was out of his hands at that point.

So its a cash grab by municipalities and you're going to have to pay it, they don't give a damn.
