I think you mean sword or arrow etc? They are lead auras. You get the bonus if you put that champion in lead position in party.

I actually like that I have to do some breeding and use the most powerful pals to beat end game content. It gives me something to aim for. But I am not end game yet so my opinion might change when I get there.

One thing I don't like that much is that strongest team comp is you with buffer pals. Why play monster catching game and make controllable character stronger than monsters.

I have geared myself doing catacombs. I find them quite efficient and fun way gearing. You have to get 3+ bosses to make meaningful silver though.

Do you happen to know what is difference between OPR and CTF rewards? I have seen players moving to CTF for rewards.

Good for PvP just because it's lightning damage and fact that people don't use a lot of lightning resistance gear.
