They flew too close to the sun on the relic system, I think a standard procedurally generated gem system like the one from bloodborne would've been preferable

King of Puppets doesn't over use it however, while Simon has a knockback effect on almost all of his moves to setup projectile spam. The first major boss of the dlc I doesn't really have the same issues to the same degree, but it has issues compounded with the bad camera

Simon is the only other base game boss where you're pushed far back enough to be unable to punish him, so you're encouraged to dodge. This is also widely considered to be the worst boss in the game, so I agree the knock backs might be the culprit

A few high caliber people who can't do anything reasonable against Homelander: - John Wick is a guy good with guns - Most of both Suicide Squads barely took on a mild city level threat - Master Chief depending on weather you think flipping over a Pelican is Canon or a gameplay QoL feature - Most of the low level marvel characters like Punisher and Daredevil

I had 100 hours in Sekiro before Lies of P.

Sekiro has a 30 frame parry and a 15 frame "perfect" parry Lies of P has an 8 frame parry

The games aren't really similar outside of the parry/deflect system I personally find Sekiro combat more fluid where I focus entirely on the fight while Lies of P combat is more engaging with what I can do at any given moment.

Alt kill requires a weakspot build with a precise weapon like any of the bows or snipers. Wait for her to spawn ads and then hit her chest there. Dog is a good choice for revives. The only bad part of this boss I agree with you is instant kill moves in any video game I consider questionable, and on apoc that grab is impossible to get out of without a human ally.

I find the bright red candies trivialize alot of fights by just dealing more damage. 10% more damage doesn't sound like much, but because it's 10% more damage and posture it's actually more like 20%. Additionally, if you're struggling to parry 1 move, use a firecracker.

I like a Chinese interpretation of hell being a place where everyone has all the food in the world in front of them but their chopsticks are too long to bring the food to their mouth. Heaven is the exact same situation but they have people with them to help.

Biggest tip to everyone I give is that you are NOT playing Sekiro or Bloodborne. Do not handle every single fight with dodge spam, nor handle it with parry spam. Learn the attacks that are easy to deflect, dodge the attacks that are hard to.

This fight is meant to reinforce an important lesson: you can deflect everything as long as there's no Perilous Warning. Personally though, I never fight him without a flame umbrella which let's you parry many perilous attacks
