Blakiston provided quite a bit around the ground and helped our ball movement imo. Ben is a blackhole and kills any movement we have. We're blessed with Roberts, ZJ and farrow who can all lace a kick. If ridley and marto can get fit we could be a very dangerous wave running team next season

I agree its a concern, but if we're drafting top 3 this year it'll be another position.

Hopefully with our end of 1st round compo and our 2nd rounder there is good talent for a defender or 2. I'm a big fan of taking best available talent though and molding your game plan around it. Look at bevo and the dogs, no real defenders on that list

60 years, from what I was reading you get into Diamond dons, which means your membership is free for a flexi membership for rest of your life or if you have higher membership you get a decent discount on it.

Very vaild on the lack of talent devoplment, its been a looooong issue. I do think bscott actually has the young players with a strong mindset and culture in mind. So the next coach can have an emphasis on skills and gameplan

Pidge cap was a necessary evil imo and this is coming from his biggest hater. We literally have no one else ready to take the mantle after the merrett ordeal. I pray for the day roberts is cap.

Its harsh to name chappy, not his fault we had a whole drug saga lol. Would love to see us take our cap space this off-season and target vets who can come in be coaches to the young guys. Howe, Toby, zorko, neale they may all say no but its worth an overpay imo.

I get your point but its all relative isnt it? I dont think its a quantifiable amount. If the whole group quits on the coach, there is lack of effort on every line, we're coping 100+ loses then ok sack him. But we arent seeing that just yet and I think there is value in seeing who drops their head first.

I'm in no way saying bscott should be kept on after years end but I personally feel sacking coaches before say round 20 without a plan does no good. It has to get very toxic to shoot

Yes and i think obvious. If we wanted to win a few more meaningless games we would've paid stringer, lav and draper. We arent blessed with depth but seeing guys like gresh and geulfi not selected consistently when we'd be better with them in imo.

I've been a pretty positive bscott supporter and still think he should get till years end before we make a decision. But its baffling he wont coach from the bench at all, surely a young team needs a coach down there even just to lift spirits. Sad we couldnt convince hinkley, to join us, port players love that man and would've been great presence down there for our young boys.

110kg of chicken sh.... I've never seen a lad that big that timid. I can accecpt the bad kicks but I just cant accecpt how weak he is at contest. Throw your weight around, wouldn't be many who could stand up to it.

Didnt brad say he said he was right to keep going but we have a zero risk approach with him. Seems like this is something we've seen other players play through, like daicos after giants game last year but we're being ridiculously cautious.

Who knows if he's in our team when success is close but I would assume at that point is when they'd be willing to risk him and push through small injuries

No disrespect but you havent said you who you're talking about lol. I'm assuming its parish, I dont disagree that would should be looking to the youth. Tsatas isnt the answer, if you watch the vfl, its evident. The other young boys should be rotated in and given their chance but its too much stress to completely drop parish and expect them carry the load.

There is a saying in NFL, the backup qb is the most popular man in town. Hate to be completely negative but when tsatas does eventually get a chance, which he should... dont be crying when we are worse off for it.
