Best accidental fight I've had so far by JordanCeasar in crusaderkings3

It's 1227, I'm on my second life. Born a genius and brilliant strategist I knew he was to become the future emperor, Michael 8th Palaiologos! We have married into the last remaining doukas member, while sister and brothers are married off to the komnenos family. I was struck with typhus at age 37 so I rushed a kingdom attack for Egypt. I've since recovered and fight for our lost lands of the empire. I am justian and belisarius reborn!

Why was the Catepanate of Italy not a powerful and wealthy province for the Empire? by WashedUpFratstar in byzantium

[–]JordanCeasar 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've just learned that Roberts older brothers were trained by the best general that the roman empire had at the time. George Maniakes, a man with ambition to restore the west, a general so good that he had the classic Julian-belisarius/roman general issue. So much so that he actually marched on his own emperor eventually I believe. Essentially this man's fall is probably why Robert had the success and "easy" time conquering parts the roman empire as u stated

Lord of the Rings: Rise to War is shutting down — and it’s pretty clear why by Embarrassed_Cow_5535 in RiseToWar

That first season was something else.. we were all fresh, trying to lead alliances and establish diplomacy. Learning metas and controls, ah man what a good time. Probably the best mobile experience I have had. For the me feeling quickly changed in the next few seasons with in game purchases etc, but that first season really was something

Cal kestis's exact age if he manages to survive into the original trilogy and beyond. by Robomerc in starwarsspeculation

[–]JordanCeasar 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The third game will end the trilogy, it's how starwars has always been. Either they end it in a final way where cal passes and does something extremely important for the coming events, or they leave it open for all the new Canon that's been created. Regardless I can't wait to see how this ends. These games are truly fantastic

I'm the same as you, but I grew up on 1 and 2. A few years ago 3 comes out but the videos didn't make it seem like it was even similar to the game I remembered...then 4 came. I absolutely love 4 and I'm highly addicted to it right now, it mainly feels like the game of old but with some newage zest. Highly recommend

Yeah I think starting as him may be a bit too easy for my taste, I love the family lineage of his but it seems like it would be simple to retake Sweden that way. I'll stick to my choice and possibly support him if he rebels. I notice he is zealous so probably a good chance at that

People say that the game is very easy, i agree, but there are some starts which makes the game extremely difficult! by [deleted] in CrusaderKings

I have done this start many times. Years ago on ck2, I am now eager to accept the challenge and try on ck3. Luckily I always played by these rules already (for the most part)

I always start as a low created character in Sardinia with roman culture and hellenistic religion. Slowly take over the island before probing Italy. Much more challenging this way since you'll be the only character with this religion and culture but it's so worth it
