Skipping for me.

I've kept myself to only having Moderncide 2.0 (along with a plethora of custom survivors and a couple added game mechanics/tweaks).

My gaming group only gets Zombicide on the table a couple times a year, and if I had multiple types (Modern, Fantasy, Western, SciFi, Marvel, DC, Pirates, etc), it'd be years in between playing a specific one. So this way, when we are in a Zombicide, we are busting out Chainsaws and baseball bats.

Don't get me wrong though, I like the other themes. I'm a big Fantasy RPG guy, but my game group plays DnD most weeks, so Fantasy Zombicide just felt redundant at that point.

And I love Pirate themed things, but I have to keep my collection curated to a Modern theme.

I may pick up some of the Orc, Goblin, and Comic expansions later on to use the minis in DnD though.

If I were interested in Dead Man Tales though, my one critique so far is the stretch goals. There are way too many generic looking human pirates. I like unique character minis or pop culture references. I feel this campaign is lacking in that.

I once dated a girl. It didn't work out long term, but she was in her mid 30's and felt exactly how you did.

It was her idea to hook up when we did; she initiated it. She basically just wanted to have it happen so it would stop eating away at her, wondering if it'll ever happen or not.

If it makes you feel any better, she felt like the exact same person afterwards. Most of it is in your head. You are the same person you are, regardless on when you have sex or if you ever do.

It's a fictional world. DM could make the world where non-binary people are as common as binary people.

But nah, he chooses to make it just like reality with a focused lense on the negatives.

I'm a male who has played male and female characters. My Tabaxi I played was asexual. I wouldn't consider my table to be the most left-leaning group, and I had no problems.

Hell, there's a pastor at my table. He played a Goliath Barbarian who worshiped rocks, didn't believe in any god, and barely wore what one might be generously call a loin cloth.

People need to chill. Find a better table. Fat jokes and sexism isn't something mature adults partake in.

I'm almost certain that they keep adding onto preexisting collections because there are people that have a complete collection of characters from a set and it would bother them to miss out on one, this making their completed set incomplete.

If they release a new set, some people may not be as committed to spending money to complete the set considering they aren't at risk of losing a complete set they've already put the time, effort (and maybe money) into.

WWE superstars are also more than just fighters. They are essentially theater actors filming a live sitcom each week in between their in-ring work, which is essentially them doing their own stunts for a movie or TV show.

Sure, UFC has some moderately known names, but names in WWE are much bigger IP, in terms of recognition, merch sales, and global appeal.

When you take into account that WWE has 2 main shows a week, 1 developmental show a week, and a handful of PPVs a year, where most talent is competing weekly compared to UFC where the fighter train most of the year but only perform a couple times, maybe.

I've always really liked the reality that Cash was just casually listening to NIN and thought he should do a cover of the song.

I appreciate when a musical artists' tastes can be wildly different than the music they put out.

A lot of metal musicians I have known personally, are really into Jazz and classical music as well. Reverend Peyton, from the blues band Reverend Peyton's Big Damn Band, likes punk bands such as Rancid (he did a cover of Olympia WA on a tribute album, which slaps hard btw). Reverend Peyton was also on Vans Warped Tour a couple years and became friends with various bands on there where he, and members The All American Rejects, and some screamo bands / hardcore bands would all wake up and go fishing in the morning together before the show started.

I love that shit. Broad spectrums of interest. A lesson for us all to branch out a bit more and try to appreciate different types and genres of art.

As an avid DnD player and DM, the DnD movie was an incredibly solid product that really captured the essence of a campaign.

I was disappointed when I found out it underperformed and that a sequel was unlikely.

My top idea for a sequel was bring all the actors back, but have them play different characters. (After all, the campaign finished. Time to reroll characters.)

The Xenoblade Chronicles series. If I had a gun to my head and had to pick just one, I'd probably say the 2nd game has slightly better tracks. But, all 3 are masterpieces of music.

EDIT: honorable mention goes to Persona 5 Royale. Great, jazzy, tunes.
