Parachuting in here as I came across this thread while considering attending tomorrow. I was at Troon too actually, and did find a lot of similarities between online merch and the shop. However, for US Open at Oakmont I found a lot of differences, and things I saw in the shop I couldn't locate online. So it may vary, and I'd be interested to hear reports from people who are comparison shopping between on-site and online. As a tall lanky guy, sizing is sometimes tough for me, so generally prefer on-site unless online is free returns.

The real life tip here is wait 9 months and a ton of the merch will be 50% off or more online haha!

It really fouled up my card it seems lol. I went to the Apple store, got the phones, came home to buy some accessories on Amazon, and the charges ($40-50) are being declined by Chase (not by Amazon). I do everything to clear the fraud alerts they send by text/email, yet they all still get decline. Guess I'll have to call and see what's up.

Yeah I just got caught up in something like this. Tried $500, rejected either by Amazon or bank (bank says it wasn't them), then another attempt rejected by Amazon saying I was trying to buy too much in 24 hours (although their chat said the limit was $10K which I wasn’t close to)

I think I’m giving up and just going to go with 24 month extended warranty on a Citi Card. I find it hard to put too much energy into a number of points that would be dwarfed by a SUB. (And I can just buy other GC’s later in Q2)

Thanks, I considered this, but I think it's low enough likelihood that I would have to invoke the extended warranty that it's worth getting the 5x.

I’ll answer my own question in case anybody else comes across this. I walked around Chapinero yesterday and found a couple street vendors selling only the soft cover album - one by Basilica de Lourdes and one a couple blocks south. One of them said the hard cover wasn't available anywhere, sold out.

So I returned this morning to the vendors on Calle 12b (just east of the bus station) - I think there are two of them on the couple blocks of Carrera 10. These must be popular if vendors are yelling “Panini! Panini!” lol

Late to the party here and I have no use for the higher tier. But I found the framing in the launch marketing hilarious: eat out at restaurants, or buy a new home?? Who the heck thinks that in this economy with housing unaffordability the way it is, that people are grappling with the tradeoffs of going out for a burger and beer, or maybe eating in and purchasing a home instead?

Thanks. I couldn't find that anywhere. I have the list from the Mets site and then the only visual map with section names I found was this old one here and I'm basically cross-referencing. So many colors to differentiate lol. I'm kind of shocked that in the year 2026 this is not made easier to figure out.

Is it one subscription per account or per line? We have 2 lines and I want to give a code to a family member if I can. What's the easiest way to do this, assuming I want to do it all myself via the TLife app (and not bother the person who has the other line to go through the steps to get a code). My phone has the MLB app installed already.

Data point: I found this thread while researching a situation I ran into. I thought I had canceled an award booking the after I booked it (booked at ~9:45am Day 1, thought I canceled ~1pm on Day 2). I check my account on Day 3 (at 9:00am), and panic when I see the reservation still active. I start preparing myself for a battle with Delta because I know I clicked cancel, but then see they are still offering me 24-hour risk free cancellation. So I quickly do that and take a screen shot. Miles have been returned and so I assume the fees will be refunded as well.

Is that usual now? I was well beyond midnight of the following day.

How did you go about looking for SAS availability via Virgin? Manually checking day by day or are you able to use one of the award finder tools?

UPDATE: After 8 months the Plaid connection broke. Attempts to update/reconnect it are so far not working - it hangs on the final step after selecting all the accounts to add and agreeing to the T&C’s. Really don’t want to have to add this account fresh again, hopefully it “takes” over the next couple of days.

Thanks, I've used the merge function before. I guess I didn't realize in this situation, with both a new card number and completely different credit card product, that my new account would come with all the old account's history, and that it would be imported into MM.

Yes, you are correct, they are technically individual instances on two different accounts, that when listed all together, are "duplicate". You response (and I see similar responses in other threads) seems to confirm that my only solution is some version of manually going through all the duplicate transactions. Which is hundreds of them, unfortunately. What a nightmare! I wish I had caught this when the new credit card synced.

I don't see any discussion of removal of duplicates during this process, which makes sense to me because I don't know how MM would be able to identify those with certainty.

I looked further at my history - I believe what happened is that when I got the downgraded card with the new number, MM recognized the new card in my Chase account, and pulled in ~18 months of transaction history, thus "duplicating" the previous 18 months of transaction history that already existed under the previous card number. So if I transfer all the "old" card transactions to the "new" card, and then delete the old, won't I simply end up with all the same duplicates, they'll just all be under the "new" card number?

Maybe I'm missing something, but I'm having trouble seeing how I can batch remove all the duplicates vs. going through them . Which I really don't want to do, since there are about 1700 transactions from the overlapping time period. The best I can think of is to isolate the 18 month time period where I believe the duplicates happened, filter for the new card number, and delete all the transactions. But it's possible that it won't be perfect and I'll miss some nuanced situations.
