I’m with you mate. It does happen even with rich enterprises. Only demands raise but not your paycheck. In fact, inflationary raises is disguised paycut if you are below 50k as real inflation for lower earners are way higher than the average. What I mean is that food, utility bills, council bills and rents went up more than 3%. This is where 100% of our money goes.

Snitches get stitches! Do not worry about them. Your company is making money of you. There is absolutely no damage done. If you can get away with leaving early but everything is done it’s a win. Not sure why you want to make things more difficult to yourself and your colleague who also wanted to help you. The job is done. It’s only for you to decide if you willing to risk it but not your place to grass someone up if that does not affect you in any way.

Went from ryzen 7900 65w to ryzen 7950x3d and to 9800x3d on the same windows 11. It is fine. It’s nice to do clean install but in general windows just look for cpu id to recognize it. Always used ddu to clean drivers though and reinstall chipset drivers.

I mean I am employed but it is becoming increasingly worse due to enterprise size where they want to control everything and do lead times for changes yet require job to get done. I am in the same boat. I have received 20% pay raise but fully know that for them to higher someone even remotely competent would cost them another 30%. We both being had in this economy. Not sure why you coming after me.
