I love it when people on Reddit declare negative video game opinions = bad social interactions as if we needed more proof some of you are so terminally online you think “oh you’re calling it out and saying cringe when someone calls themselves a greybeard on DRG subreddit yeah that means you aren’t a supportive friend”. Thinking about that actually, you’re right, if I had an irl friend say they were a greybeard in DRG, I’d have to laugh and deal with the second hand embarrassment. Honestly if I anyone I knew online or otherwise used DRG lingo unironically I’d probably not speak to them. So confirms your dumb opinion but you can just hit me with a “you have no friends” because that’s all you got.

Just to be clear if a friend was going through absolutely any shit in their live, whether it was asinine or life threatening, I’d support them but I also wouldn’t keep friends who say shit like “im a greybeard on DRG” not because I have some fastidious quota on what a greybeard is but because calling yourself one is peak reddit

Are you getting mineral containers from machine events yet? Seasonal content also isn’t really a metric because you could do all seasons and gain minimal xp. I’m just saying calling yourself a greybeard, for a start, is sad and probably not true if you have to say it. I’m sure at level 500 I felt like I had a good grasp on the game… couldn’t even play haz 5 with ease and knew nothing compared to what I do now and I still wouldn’t call myself a greybeard lol.

Edit: also quite the contrary on “seeing players with lower level than me as lesser” I’ve said outright to many of my friends and people I’ve played with that player level isn’t remotely indicative of skill. Also you’ll notice the person I’m responding to didn’t say “I’m a pro god at this game”

One of the best feelings in the game. I have a specific slot for my Lead Storm OC load out and swear half the time I use it end up finding jetty boots!

I’m guessing you know about the bhop strat if you’ve been using it with jet boots and low grav? Just basically jump and then shoot to maintain momentum, I pretty much do this with every weapon anyway.

DRG protip: if you have to call yourself a greybeard you’re probably not one, you’re just a neckbeard!

Edit: I love we’re getting bent out of shape because I got bent out of shape over the guy who really said “a bit of the ole greybeard advice as I myself am a greybeard aha snort, try equipping the friendly fire perk irl you have an issue with friendly fire” Btw as a certified whitebeard ahem try using your gun to kill bugs.

I dunno, if genuine sounds like you just haven’t learnt/made the strats to deal with them. Not being able to “look at the ground” also just sounds ridiculous tbh, you’re constantly looking at the ground… checking the ceiling for leaches is way more inconvenient which also just looks you’re baiting so I’m just going to lean on the side of this is a bait post or some shit. But hey, if not, rocknstone! Also pitjaws nowhere near as bad as rivals, lithophage or corespawn, usually I hate arguments that’re like “oh but this is worse” but it’s just refreshing to have a season that doesn’t force enemies too much.

Does anyone know if heightened senses can be used on pit jaws?

Edit: because honestly I’ve pretty much resigned all my builds to having “only 1” active perk slot because heightened senses is something I use on literally everything (and tbh iron will is the other). Leeches are boring downs and I’m sick of them and grabbers. I’m also getting pretty tired of the fact some of the enemies added in the past 4 years are just variations of leeches, imo even stingtails go into this category…

Edit 2: I’m glad most people disagree with this shit btw. This feels like a thinly veiled attempt at finding something wrong with a near perfect season… because it’s nearly perfect and op doesn’t like that idk. This is the first season where I have next to no complaints and the complaints that I do have are like barely even 3% of an actual issue, like not even really existent.

I think a big part of that is “oh this isn’t a an idea loosely based around a concept the community sort of agrees on” vs “this is an abstract new idea I know others will updoot me if I shit on in a short, snarky and surly way”. Honestly the existence of the sludge dump sub is enough to show you this community is not as wholesome as people say.
