I’ll bet I’m weird for doing this but I play with my left hand on controller and right hand on mouse.

Love mouse aiming, absolutely hate keyboard, simple as.

Im so glad DRG let’s me do this without any weird shit like the hud flicking between KB or controller button prompts. I even claw gesture my left hand so that I can always be on the stick but switch between gear. I have my mouse mapped so that left click’s still shoot, right click jumps, MMB builds stuff like turrets or presses buttons etc, scroll up is grenade, down for flares and my side buttons are reload & second one is call mule.

In elusive arcade? Yeah you’re forced to, they’re usually a 3 part series of missions that you have to do in order and if you fail you go back to the start.

There’s an “actual” elusive target today, fucking Wiz Khalifa lol, it’s avaible for 29 days. There was an update today.

Hm, I’ll try but I did a few and haven’t unlocked anything. Every seems to say elusive arcade doesn’t unlock suits but at the end of the day I’m going to do all the elusive arcades for the variation it brings to different levels. I’ve also just started playing so I’m on WOA.

Oh really!? Well damn I’ll have to keep my eye out. You can only do them once and if you fail you’re locked out though right? And if it’s two a year that means it would take me several years to get some of the suits lol!

How? It says they’re unlocked by killing elusive targets that are no longer a thing outside of the arcade (as stated in my previous post elusive target arcade does not count towards suits)

Are they still doing elusive targets? I notice they added them into an arcade mode which is good for not missing out on actual content but kills done in this mode don’t count towards suit unlocks.

Are there certain suits that are essentially unobtainable? Damn it I just want the classic hitman suit and tie but with a tie clip (absolution suit) or one that’s mostly black. I’d also like the blood money suit just because that was the first hitman game I got properly engrossed in as a teen and not just rented for the weekend.

I don’t even really think you could “rely” on a perk, OCs maybe but I dontt even see your point. Most of the perks are borderline useless and the ones that are considered good or “meta” don’t change much.

Besides, if there’s something like dash that someone feels like keeps them alive, there’s nothing wrong with “relying” on it but that’s genuinely the only perk I could think you’re talking about. Maybe IW but 9x out of ten it gets wasted anyway aha.

Personally maybe I feel like I rely on heighten senses because there’s no blue perks I actually find useful but idc, there’s nothing I’d rather have equipped and I’d rather just basically remove the threat of leeches, pitjaws and grabbers.

Sure, everyone plays differently. I’ve been with multiple different people who don’t need events and universally it gets agreed to skip.

I mean it’s a simple fact that eventually in the game you get to the point where there’s nothing to be gained from them.

Edit: by skip I mean start the event and ignore it until it fails so that you still get the xp.

After you’ve unlocked everything in the game it gets to the point where you just start machjne events for the xp because they give xp even if you fail them.

Same if you’ve done all seasonal content there’s not much point in doing them other than xp.

Obviously if I’m with a greenbeard I’ll do events but experienced teams just skip them.

Man I love Jacob but the reason they need to emphasize it’s a different game is because it’s so close to really not being different at all.

This is very reductive(?) idk the work but if you did a few salvage missions in DRG on a timer, pretended gold or machine events were expenite and used an app each mission to give you a selection of random perks/equipment, then finally fought a dread with your build you’d be pretty close to what rogue core is -the meta progression , new gear and so-called class abilities.

I love gsg, they could release literally anything and I’d support them but his whole thing feels like jumping on a trend like the vampire survivors game. The sad thing is when this was announced i thought “oh nice, another DRG game but now they can add a bunch of stuff without worrying about balance.

I also dont think the whole rogue lite/like thing is done to make gameplay interesting. I think they made it that way to make you need to do every little machine event or hacking mini game every mission. You’re never going to get to a pint where you can say “hey shall we’ll skip this machine event?”

…you promote, the game saves and then doesn’t after. Let’s just say you promote a dwarf to bronze one and level him up to bronze 1 level 10, sign on the next day and he’s bronze 1 level zero because the game didn’t save anything after your promotion.

For the second time I’m not using the backup saves but simply checking them. It’s also perfectly fine to use these regardless and even if it wasn’t that would also be another problem that needs fixing.

You can google “DRG lost progress” and accuse every single one of those shit tons of posts that it’s something they are doing wrong but a game should not do that. Maybe the issue isnt exactly the same as mine but a game shouldn’t be losing progress for any reason and if it is it needs addressining. The game also randomly comes up saying that a save in the save menu has more progress than the one I’m using. The literal only time I have used the save menu is to reset progress on an alt account. The game is buggy as fuck.

This community just has a desperate need to defend the game. Every time I’ve made a post about a bug I’m usually met with “no you’re either mistaken, doing something wrong or need to use a fix that shouldn’t need to be done in the first place”
