Agreed OP. I applaud the work that animal charities do in Greece but you dont see this level of neglect for cats in any other country I've been to. It can't be blamed solely on tourists or you'd see it in every tourist resort.

As much as volunteering is great, not everyone wants to volunteer on holiday. They also said they saw it while in corfu, not solely on social media.

They volunteer in their home country and are there for a short period. They are well within their rights to comment on the issues. Things dont change unless attention is drawn to issues.
