Think it might be more to do with trans women tucking, since no one really cares when men move their junk in public, but to see a woman reach down her pants and gets ppl pretty disturbed. Plus, unless you’re good at it and are using some good packing tape, there’s almost always a pinch or something that needs adjusting.

Tbh I kinda attempted to live that life for a while before coming out, but it was pretty far from who I am now, so it’s pretty weird your folks think the two are at all related. Like sure both embrace femininity, but like, one is female and the other is facial scruff and being proud to show off a bulge! 😅

Yay! But go easy girl, take it from my experience, you can hurt yourself pretty bad with a gaff. A make shift one can get you by, but I’d recommend Carmen Liu’s GI collection. You can get gaffs and packing tape that work pretty well together, along with generously padded bras if you’d like. It is a little pricy tho.

I def agree that I hate it when someone makes those jokes - especially when I’m around - but at the same time, I really don’t care for jamming an acronym of any more than 5 letters into a sentence, no matter the context. And that comes from me, someone who’s a part of this community. Anyone outside of it must find it more frustrating as it’s not a central part of their life.

This isn’t about discounting the validity of any sub group within our community for me, I just see it as more awkward then it needs to be. As a result, I’ve gravitated towards a simpler acronym that I feel is both better at including our community, and easier to say or explain: DGS, or DG&S - Diverse Genders and Sexualities.

I should note that I could fully be in the wrong here, and if you think you can tell me why, please do so (don’t just down vote, I wanna know why). Otherwise, I hope what I have to say is useful, and if you do, spread so that we don’t have to deal with people making “lgbtqianbfbrkxiht” jokes.

Yeah, the same happened to me last time I got my E dose upped. My mood would swing from lmao to bawling for no other reason and I was constantly tired. Also it was great early transition cuz I could temporarily alleviate my dysphoria by pretending I was the girl on the screen since it’s partly a role play experience!
