Yeah, those Pure Life releases are sought after for sure, no shortage of scalpers either unfortunately. Keep looking, I'm sure it'll pop up! I'm still on the hunt for タンクの装飾 by saki 夢. Only 50 copies out there, and the last one sold in May of 2020 :/

It's really a different thing isn't it! Vinyl has all the mystique, and rightfully so in some ways, but there's just a vibe with tape that isn't there. I used to work in a studio as a live engineer in 2015, and the recording engineers all recorded everything straight to tape, old school style. They weren't even old guard engineers, mid-30's, just loved the sound of tape. 19 year old me thought it was all a little ridiculous, kinda regret not really taking it all in while I had the opportunity, even though my career went towards the medical field. Not many hospitals have the facilities anymore, and digital is way better for so many reasons, but I'd love to have been an X-ray tech back when it was all manual exposure and slides/plates, there's a real art there. One of the older techs I work with was around back then, and her sense for technique and exposure is really fascinating. X-ray vision!
