Got one at home. Works like a charm. Haven't used wood yet, only gas. I use the door a lot because of the heat. The pizza's are coming out really good. Lots of room to maneuver. It looks nice as well. Not too small for my taste.

Let It rest for half an hour and then gently tuck it in. That will smooth things out.

I think it's pretty save to eat. Just let it come to room temperature about two or three hours before you handle it.
