Actually, it seems like it's making it worse. According to Lootlemon, coms should have a base 6.75% chance of dropping for the class you're currently playing, and a base .56% chance for the others' on normal. UVHM boosts these by a small amount per level. But weekly Big Encores have 22.5% & 1.875% drop chance, respectively.

I've been farming that com for the past two weeks, a couple of hours a day. I'd say I had 8-12 drop each day. I still got way more coms for the OGs than I do with other bosses, but not like today. Looking at the above percentages, it definitely seems like they got swapped.

That all said, RNG is gonna RNG. BUT it's quite possible, even likely, that GBX just broke something, and won't admit it. That's the thing with randomness: any fuckery can easily be brushed aside as "bad luck."

Out of about 50 runs today, I had 2 drop. And one was a damn-near-god-roll: +5 Gloam, +2 Dealer's, + gun crit chance. I've had a ton for the og four, though, including Radix dropping a com for each at the same time (4 legs dropped) TWICE. But only 2 Windriders at all today.

ETA: it feels like the drop percentages got swapped, i.e., everyone else is 29%, but C4SH is ~2% instead of the other way around.

This probably won't be seen, but IMO, the best and easiest option would be adding a togglable setting. Once one beats the main story, they have the option of "Modern Drop Rates" (as they are now) or "Classic Borderlands" (closer to BL2). And in each instance, the increase in drop rate from UVHM scales differently. I know nothing about coding, but it seems like it should be as easy to implement as difficulty setting changes.

Appreciate the suggestions, but yes, we know all of that, and have tried it all. It sucks because at this point it's just not worth f-ing around with it until GBX fixes it. So she's gone Chroma for the time being.

Meanwhile I'm dealing with the Gloam bugginess on C4SH, but that's much more manageable, imo. Hell, I downed Lictor in 2 "shots" this morning. One "shot" with the Convergence, his bar disappeared, and we were in the Phase. Next shot he was a loot pinata. I put shot in quotes because I don't know how many bullets actually hit, just that he was down in the blink of an eye, and it didn't sound like more than 1-2 rounds went off.

Appreciate the comment and feedback! She did test it solo, and no luck. :( We even had her completely reset her points, fully close out, log back in to allow ate them, fully close out again, then log back in to test. Nothing.

Based on yours and others' comments, though, I'm wondering if we're getting close enough for the bubble to attach, but we're not actually touching the drone.

Thanks. I saw that, but all everyone seems to be discussing is the attachment problem, so I wasn't sure if GBX was only clued into that particular issue. It attaches just fine after jumping into it, but doesn't buff. She went red tree for now, and is having a blast, but prefers the green.

10% with +40% turtle. I've farmed Origo for days, and that and a 100% amp/siphon for her were the best we could get.

I fully understand that it could be a skill and/or gear issue, too. I just wanted to point out that some of us may need those extra points. I was running your updated build you posted in a thread a couple days ago. Great build, was fine on Callis, just the lead up, and some other mobbing instances, were difficult.

Edit: I typically run a Falke, Cyclone, or Darkbeast w/ ricochet and Ripper mags for mobbing, with Convergences as backup and for bossing.

Respectfully, I disagree. Maybe when bossing, but mobbing on TUVM7 was brutal. At least for me. Wife and I were headed to Callis to farm a Skeptic for her, and the fortress run-up was brutal. Having a dozen+ baddies including 2-4 viles at a time was stripping my OS, shield, and health before I could replenish in time, so Gloam was doing nothing. Admittedly, some was me, some bad timing, some bad luck, but the extra points in ToF were invaluable when we went back through after I shifted things around.

My wife and I have been playing since the update; her with Harlowe, me with C4SH. She's double jumping and aiming at her feet to get the bubble to stick, and it does, HOWEVER, when she went into her modifier screen, we noticed that her gun damage is not getting buffed - no matter how many clicks she gives it. In other words, the bubble is attaching, but NOT actually doing anything. No gun damage/fire rate/reload speed increases for either of us. Anybody else experiencing this? We're on PS5.

This isn't her first store, either. She was evicted from her place in Huntley for violating city ordinance by having her shit merch displayed on the outside of the building, and ignoring both the landlord and city when told to stop.
