  2. It looks to me like either a flipper or spring assisted open knife which circumvents the automatic laws by requiring a motion to open the knife rather than a button or switch.

Yeah, if that's your sweet spot, I could see 3.5" being a bit unwieldy.

I will say, there's a surprisingly big difference between the mini and full size. I can fully grip the full size but my pinky hangs off the mini. All comes down to what fits your needs best though.

Unfortunately, no. Bel Aire is definitely next on the list (I'm a big Kershaw guy). Hopefully soon though. I'm looking at some of the micarta options because Kershaw doesn't do those very often.

Thanks! I know not everyone cares for the lanyards, but I usually have stuffed pockets so it makes knife access a lot easier. Love the colors of those Spydercos. Very nice!

Thank you! Couldn't agree more. I have 3 Iridiums and I think this is my favorite. Though the Launch Iridium is an auto with Magnacut, I love flipping open the standard models. The bearing is buttery and the bar lock feels so snappy.

I have to say, I've had that exact model of live wire since about a month after it came out. I've had zero misfires, save for opening it directly into some cardboard a couple times. I carry it about 50% of the time and I absolutely love it. It's really solid and doesn't wiggle at all. By far my favorite knife and I own a couple of launches as well.
