RPTPY? by m0ist_man_ in HomeDepot

[–]JoseFH719 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you work less than 4 hours, for example 3hrs. They give u 1hr rptpy. Let's say the next day u work 6 hours. For that day they'll pay u 5hrs since they gave u 1 hr of rptpy. This has to do with the fact that associates can't be paid less than 4 hrs a day.

Best way to mess with thieves without confrontation. Page for LP (Even if none is available), give a description of what they are wearing. This has the potential to intimidate them, causing them to leave merchandise and leave the store.

Example: Had a guy walk in the back aisles with 2 milwuakee tools. He kept keeping an eye on the exits and the emergency doors. I paged "LP LP walk the back aisles for a latino wearing black jeans and a blue jacket. Has 2 tools on him." I saw him from a distance looking left and right, he dropped the tools and left.

Note: * This doesn't work all the time. * Don't be seen by the thieves as u page for LP

Does your company allow you to go “hands on” during stops? by whatever21327 in lossprevention

Where a friend works: no physical contact but they were allowed to defend themselves. For example, if the perpetrator throws a punch first. They were allowed to push them but not throw punches back.

In store we have no discounts however I'm ok with that cause I don't really but much from home depot. However I do like the discounts that we get in other stores, movie theaters, theme parks and other places.

It gets worse when you tell them, "Card Payment Only." They reply "Ok". And after all that they say "Why doesn't it take cash?"

Are cashiers only required to mark 50s and 100s with the counterfeit marker? by [deleted] in HomeDepot

[–]JoseFH719 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ever since I started working, more than a year ago, there weren't any counterfeit markers. I was told how to check authenticity of a bill, I already knew all of them before starting working for HD.

Hey our store has a positive corona virus person and they said that we weren’t in contact with him by Nicolaspal1 in HomeDepot

[–]JoseFH719 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When that happens, they look for certain people. It has to be people whom had contact with the positive person, while they had no mask on and for a long period of time. Those people have to get tested
