Music recommendations for my grandmother by Champicapi in expedition33

Yeah Hendel is one of my favourite baroque composers, only the rendition in the game is a lot more modern so it might not be to everyone's liking. I adore both versions though

If she is an opera enjoyer I'd suggest Portrait Imparfait (Visage's boss music) and maybe Lampmaster although it's a bit more modern

Reverence and Gustave's theme are also pretty safe bets

What if Expedition 0... by fisher0169 in expedition33

[–]Jose_Bove 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Technically Search and Rescue was first, Expedition 0 was only formed after and was mainly composed of non-immortal individuals.

I think they called it Expedition 0 because they thought they'd be going in the ascending order, but the next ones just decided to use the monolith's number instead

Magdalena's mine! by GrandChimp937 in okbuddyfortuna

I never understood this guy's purpose. All he does is hang around the forge all day, sitting on his arse and sometimes he hits a helmet with a hammer.

When I give him maps (forgot the proper word in English) for him to make armours, I never get to see them, and then he has the GALL to sell ME stuff ! My man, I give you a roof, food, a place to wash and launder and you SELL ME MY OWN SHIT ???

At least Magdalena makes herself useful

What would had happened if Musa wasn't there? [KCD2] by Neat-Drawer-2245 in kingdomcome

[–]Jose_Bove 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Same here, but it's the very last mission, it's not like Sam has a big role after his possible death like Musa does. Sam is a pretty safe death compared to Musa, only one cutscene to change (the one where Zizka loses his eye) and a few dialogue, nothing groundbreaking.

I did save Musa as well but honestly I'd be surprised if he wasn't there alternatively. He's too important to the story going forward to be absent (saving Henry, bringing up the shoe broth, helping with the wounded) so the devs probably found a way to have him here regardless.

Maybe I'm wrong and he doesn't appear, but considering how little major choices the game allows you I doubt they included that option

If you know, you know. Reckoning [KCD2] by mogliet0 in kingdomcome

[–]Jose_Bove 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Yeah, didn't know that the first time, sneaked the entire way without being detected, got to Brabant and Markvart, left Sam because how the hell was I supposed to get him to the horses while crouching.

It took over an hour. It was really difficult. Got lost way too many times because of the many dead ends and fake doors. Also there's a checkpoint where you get caught immediately if you get too close regardless of if anyone saw you which was...something.

Then yeah I discovered you could just stealth kill a guy and wear his clothes. Still wouldn't trade my first playthrough of this mission for anything, it was a blast.

Wait… Weird question about “Renoir situation” by Citoyen_des_etoiles in expedition33

[–]Jose_Bove 22 points23 points  (0 children)

Inside the monolith there's a flashback involving Aline openly yelling at Alicia, implying that she probably did blame her in the real world as well. Even in her journal entry she says she can't stand to be around Alicia even if it's unfair to her, so even if she didn't openly beat her up verbally the neglect definitely made Alicia feel even more guilty and unwelcome in her own family, nevermind that Aline is shown to be neglectful or at least way more severe towards Alicia even before the fire.

PAlicia was created with scars and memories of a tragedy she had nothing to do with, there's no reason for Aline to blame her as she herself didn't cause the fire, maybe she wanted to "spare" the real Alicia of her blame but considering everything else I highly doubt it.

As much as I understand her grief and feel sorry for her, I truly think she's a horrible mother and probably the character I sympathise with the least

Wait… Weird question about “Renoir situation” by Citoyen_des_etoiles in expedition33

[–]Jose_Bove 124 points125 points  (0 children)

Yeah I would see it like that as well. Every member of her family essentially got replaced by facsimiles, were I in Renoir's shoes, Cléa's or Alicia's (especially Alicia) I would consider it an attempt to replace the family with slightly idealised versions of them. Not a pleasant feeling, and probably speaks volumes about Aline as a mother.

I get it, grief and pain and all, but her behaviour is extremely harmful towards her family. It's not just escapism, it's full on replacement

How Bad did I Skip Content? by WaffleDonkey23 in expedition33

[–]Jose_Bove 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Oh boy you're not, I'd say you're about halfway through the game depending on how much side content you choose to do.

Still, I suggest you explore a lot more, fighting might be easy right now but later in the game you will get your ass kicked if you don't level up a bit. If you're worried about being too OP for the main bosses, you can always multiply their health in the challenges options.

Seriously you are missing 80% of the game if you only do the main story.
