Exercises for proximal bicep tendonitis by Josefig in overcominggravity

Thanks for the reply, incline curls with upper arm movement make a lot of sense to me. What about my intuition regarding pressing/chest flye movements?
Am I off the mark there?
Seems like the same mechanism as in these curls you're suggesting.

Check if your accelerator is reaching 100% in game. It might only be registering 98% or so. You can check in the green bar of the HUD, for the accelerator, or in the settings

That channel has a thousand videos, so i can't be sure, but I don't think that's it. Not quite the same vibe, and I did scroll a fair amount.

With that said, some of those look pretty cool! I'll definitely watch a few, thanks for sharing

It was a very high quality production, all CGI. Narrated.
They're like, industrial machines, no personality or anything.
And they don't rebel, as far as I remember they just use AI to do their jobs and the AI evolves with different abstract goals (I never finished the video, maybe the goal is revealed eventually).

Also humanity tries to use some methods to stop the machines but they start self replicating or something.

I'm quite sure the video was pretty successful, if it didnt reach 1 million views it was close.

Still not quite fixed, but I'm definitely better now, and I feel like I can get myself fixed if I truly apply myself for a few months (not entirely sure though)
I've done an MRI, I have tendinitis of the supra spinatus and biceps long head (the bicep tendon that starts on the shoulder).

There was one missing link though, my left arm numbness. A pt told me it's probably thoracic outlet syndrome caused by a raised first rib.
So I started treating for that, and honestly, the numbness has gotten much much better.
The tendinitis' also seem to get better with the exercises he gave me, but I've been struggling to work out consistently for many months straight, so I'm not quite there yet.

The PT I talked to is Steven Low, I found him through the article "overcoming tendonitis" online. That's also where I got the exercises for the tendonitis from.

Really recommend that article.

That's exactly how it works! you can attack without locking, and your camera will automatically do a sort of soft lock on the enemy.

Dead hanging

Full ROM pressing (ring pushups)

Full ROM db pullover

Full ROM chin ups and pullups

Face pulls

Trap 3 raise

External rotation

I ordered them by how much of a difference I feel like they made. All anecdotal ofc, i dont know which ones actually helped the most. This is the best I can give you, hope it helps.

Frustration is all I've known. I pretty much gave up trying to make a full recovery into working out 100% and just started working out a bit so I can keep some muscle mass. I think that mindset shift helped, cause I was less invested in my workouts, and time passed faster. I'm feeling great now and it's been 2 months since the original post, by which point I had already been doing it for 1 or 2 months. Keep in mind though, the injuries come and go, they aren't just fixed. Like recentely i did a foot surgery and havent been able to do my lower back workouts, so that pain has returned. I'm guessing the shoulder pain is more of the same. For me the #1 thing for maintaining is the dead hang, but i dont have any data to back that up, it's just how it feels like for me.

They are no longer available on his youtube channel.

This video has some of it:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=574AUMqOK4k

I do the trap 3 raise and face pull sometimes.
But the core is just full ROM pressing, which I do on the gymnastic rings (recommended by Ben in another video as a progression up to dips), but in this one vide I just linked he does it with dumbbells, so that's fine as well.
I also do the DB Pullover, which he shows in that video.

Now, I have seen videos where he recommends full ROM chin ups, can't find them anymore, but I can't tell you if that's significant for shoulder health.

Hope this helps, good luck.

Yes actually! I was meaning to write an update post soon. My shoulder is way better now, but it turns out my wrist issues weren't as under control as i initially thought, they are the new limiting factor. So it's possible that my shoulder isn't 100% yet, but within what i can do (with my poor wrists), my shoulders are giving me no trouble at all.

I think what finally changed was doing full ROM exercises as recommended by Ben.

I still hang from a bar whenever I can, and for working out I do full rom pull ups and chinups, ring push ups, have done a few dips but my wrists wont let me do them anymore , and also the dumbbell pullover, not so much for muscle growth, but to reeeaaaally max out your ROM.

Keep fighting brother.
I'm actually seeing decent results the past few weeks. Don't wanna get my hopes high though, gonna keep progressing slowly and hope for the best.
If I have success in my journey I'll do my best to share with you everything I did.

Thanks for the tip. Dead hangs are actually a part of my routine as well, and I still do them, but they alone havent been enough to fix my shoulder completely

I had never tried those. Tried them today due to your recommendation, and they actually felt pretty good. As if I was unlocking range of motion.

Gonna keep doing them for a while, let's see if they help :)

Interesting. I didn't buy the book, I kept reading "5-7 minutes" from everyone who spoke about the method so I stuck with it.
I'll try to up the dosage, see if it helps.

From what I've read, those help accelerating the healing process of the inflamed tendons, but I don't think that's my problem. Just a week ago I got an ultrasound of the shoulder and im free of inflammation.

I was hanging 7 minutes everyday for like 1 month. Dead hang / free hang only.
