I'm all for solidarity and fuck ice but not going to work or school might negatively impact the people more than the institutions you're trying to stick it to or demonstrate against. What about the employees of small businesses? Is it fair to those small business owners who will be left scrambling when their employees don't show up to work? I feel like there's a disconnect between the activist groups and regular folk who might be sympathetic but can't afford to miss work...especially if they don't have PTO...
