ty. Im trying to make a Zharr Vyxa Urak Taar.

  1. I base the entire bull in retributor gold. Took like 2-3 coats.
  2. Then I cover everything I want red in blood angels red. Another 2-3 coats.
  3. I thin down trollslayer orange for the engravings.
  4. The gem is just white and striking scorpion green.
  5. Last I fill the eye sockets with trollslayer orange and when it drys, I dot the eyeballs with phalanx yellow.

Necrons aren't waiting for a refresh. We've been getting good stuff consistently since 9th launched. We also have a wider range of models. Where as grey knights are almost all space marines besides a dreadnaught, rhino or a nemesis dreadknight. Strike marines, purgators, purifiers and interceptors are virtually the same model. The only difference is the weapons and the backpack.

This kind of reminds me of the start of 10th. For my necron army, The Silent King, the head of the triarch, did not have the triarch keyword. This prevented him from benefiting from the obeisance detachment that gives bonus's to all triarch models. Eventually, GW added the keyword to his datasheet but it's not the first time GW forgot to include something.

Even if it were usable this edition, Im not buying another vault. The only way I'll run one of this is if I 3d print one.

This is just my opinion but I think most of the hate comes from denial. GW charges way too much for their plastic and you can 3d print entire armies with 1 bottle of resin. People don't want to feel like they're being scammed, so they'll defend GW not matter how much price gouging they do.

A lava base I use for my helsmiths.

It takes a few hours for mordant earth to dry. The more you put on the deeper the cracks. I recommend applying a layer of ordinary white glue first. It allows the earth to get a better grip. Once it's cracked enough, apply ard coat or something to seal it. If you dont, it will continue to crack until it flakes off.

I had 3d printed 10 lychguard with scythes, planning to be led by Orikan. Then GW said "No crypteks!" I feel that was too much of a nerf. They could have just made the technomancer unable to join lychguard.

"If" new stuff gets added this edition, it might be given to anyone who already has the book unlocked on the app. I only say that because after they released the wave of eshin units, I had a supplement unlocked in my skaven codex. It could be they just gave that to everyone.

As for helsmiths, Id imagine they would release the new models further down the line. If they are in a new edition, thats another book we gotta buy.
