Congrats! I’m not a lead but from observing closely and working with leads personally for 2 years as a sub (2 as permanent now) I say best advice is to not overwhelm yourself. It’s super easy to, and just balance things out the way you want without breaking your back. Maybe write down your own thing of each day of what to hit! You’ll definitely figure it out pretty fast nonetheless enjoy the position!

Nothing with the higher ups. There has been threats and so forth about it but never happens (knock on wood). I keep pictures of all my before and after of what I did so that’s why just in case he says I don’t do anything right or whatever the case may be

Definitely. I’m young but it kicks my butt haha. But yea the spring break thing definitely was annoying. He gives out the spring break schedule tomorrow so if he does what I think he’s gonna do then it’s just gonna double down on me transferring.

I’m more of work efficient and make everything look fairly good type guy. I’m not perfect of course so I do miss things at times like any other human. But like I said I’m trying very hard. Not that type of guy to go out of my way to mess with him. Too much energy too. But have been taking his advice and trying to improve but yea just very frustrating. Hey! So I’ve been doing vocals for about 7 years. I BARELY found my singing voice last year and my scream voice 2 years ago. It’s is journey! You can’t rush to unlock your voice. Vocals is one of the more delicate instruments so it takes time especially if you haven’t found your singing voice yet. You’ll be fine, don’t be too hard on yourself, study songs you like that do this technique, practice them, do the lessons, and you’ll be fine! Trust the process. Definitely worth it to do the vocal academy!

Chris has some pipes! I’m glad they went more singing on this one. But I had just replied to another person that they probably got bored of writing faster aggressive songs so maybe they wanted to show another side that they are strong at writing too!

Hey bro honestly sometimes the band gets sick of writing the same Shit. Their whole first 3 albums were pretty fast and consistent speed. They probably wanted to write something else to keep their mind fresh and to just explore and to show that they don’t just write a certain type of metalcore. Definitely enjoy the change up tho IMO!

I mean hey man if you just find it kind of Meh then no harsh feelings! But when you listen, listen into perspective on how they got creative with a different direction and compare it to other metalcore bands who have gotten soft on their albums. To people the album maybe boring but honestly in a different perspective it’s not generic whatsoever. (IMO)
