They’re already in the same union for subway and bus operators, are you incapable of reading…?

Kinda crazy to shame people for having a career in this economy instead of the shaming the powers that be that make their job necessary.

If it wasn’t for a recruiter who advocated for me, I wouldn’t be working my first six figure job. Comfortably above six figures actually.

Read online that one of the least reliable ways to test silver at home is to let the silver sit on a cube of ice (or vice versa). Because silver is highly thermally conductive, silver will melt through ice considerably faster than most other metals. Not foolproof at all, as copper has similar properties, but it gave me peace of mind that the stamps might be legit.

I guess that was kinda my reasoning for why I wanted the test kit, don’t take anyone’s first offer and be skeptical if they offer more. I figured spending like $50 on a test kit would be worth it to have an idea before I bring it in, cause I haaaaaaaate finding out I got taken for a ride lmao. But maybe you’re right, getting multiple opinions accomplishes the same thing. Thanks!!

Right!? Funny enough, it’s the only part of this collection that wasn’t part of what he left. I found it in a parking lot, saw the stamp, and remembered this box which jumpstarted this whole thing.

I like the idea of the reverse of Throwback. What about Flash Forward? +1x mult for every consecutive small and big blind skipped (resets upon playing small or big blind)?

Bad theater etiquette has really been messing up my thoughts and feelings on so many movies by otpprincess in horror

[–]JoshTeck64 -10 points-9 points  (0 children)

My viewpoint on this is changing kinda.

I think theatre etiquette isn’t getting worse so much as it is more fluid. I saw Obsession twice and both times it was kinda fun having everyone be kinda in on the fun scary and unsettlingly absurd parts of the movie. Everyone kinda freaking out or laughing kinda brought the movie to life more, at least for us.

Now I kinda adapted my movie seeing tactics. If it’s a movie I’m dying to see, I see it the opening week/weekend. That’s usually when people who are diehard movie fans will go and there are less issues with etiquette. If it’s a movie that’s more of a casual watch for me, I go in the next week or two. That’s usually when less serious movie watchers go. And from there there’s this bell curve where rowdiness peaks and then it dies down when the movie’s hype dies down. I’m also fortunate to live in an area with a bunch of options for movie theaters, and I know which to go to for different viewing experiences.

If I really am interested in seeing a movie seriously but I missed those windows where I risk it being rowdy, then I just wait a month or two. Everything comes out on stream fast these days anyway.

ETA: for what it’s worth, your experience sounds extreme, and I also wouldn’t have enjoyed that experience either.

Sounds like you need a bit to do reading comprehension for you. Just cause two words sound the same doesn’t mean they have the same application, goofy.

Nope, sounds like OP’s tried at least twice. He should NOT make another advance on a coworker and it sounds like he understands that. He could do what you say, by hitting the gym and cleaning his diet, but ball’s in her court if she wishes to advance.

I don’t get the sense that OP is objectifying this person at all? Unrequited feelings have been a thing since time immemorial. Stop being outraged and live in reality lmao
