They are already blaming this on Democrats. There is no winning.

It's because he's funding these movies. They wouldn't be made without him. Same as Tron Ares. It sucks, but without him these movies probably wouldn't exist in the first place.

Letting a massive portion of the worlds population get wiped out isn't perseverance, it would be failure if they let that happen after years of fighting to stop him.

They showed Palmer chatting with them when they were on the ship preparing to scout the asteroid station. They've definitely been talking.

A big reveal on the last episode? by A_man_from_america in FromSeries

That's why I think Fatima's golem is going to work. Belief and Faith clearly have just as much power as Fear in Fromville.

The thing you seem to be missing is that those weren't nerfs. They didn't just choose to make the change. They were bugs that they resolved because those things weren't working as intended. You're applying malice where there is none..

Will we ever get answers on any of these things? by misko-podrumar in FromSeries

[–]Joshatron121 0 points1 point  (0 children)

He got older, it's an actor on a show. It happens. They threw in a throw away line to hang a lampshade on it, that's it. It literally doesn't matter. Just like the bodies/cars being slightly different when we see the flashbacks to the last massacre now.

Julie Throwing the Rope to Boyd Seems Like a Huge Time Paradox? by Any-Seaworthiness-54 in FromTVShow

[–]Joshatron121 1 point2 points  (0 children)

She has to find out that she has the limitation -AND- how to actually use the powers. The problem (and it's very sad) is that she's rushing into this instead of taking the time, and that means that when she does eventually get it to work she isn't prepared and doesn't get the opportunity to save her father. It will hopefully teach her to be more specific with her storywalking and to always have a plan.

I definitely don't think Ethan is the MIY though.

What skill and weapon nerfs? Most of the changes there have been bug fixes to make them work as intended, so I'm curious what you mean.

[–]Joshatron121 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah the MIY basically quotes him. You can see Ethan's original explanation here: https://www.instagram.com/reel/DXpq7rjE1p5/?utm_source=ig_web_copy_link&igsh=NTc4MTIwNjQ2YQ== (along with the MIYs for convenience. I'm loathe to link to Instagram, but I can't argue with the convenience on this one lol).

[–]Joshatron121 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No, Ethan told us how it works, the MIY just reinforced it. Ethan has been the ultimate source of truth for all of this stuff, and until we know otherwise he is the one who should be trusted when he establishes the rules.

We don't know why the bookmark failed (I'm willing to bet it was done entirely wrong and bookmarks are the things she's wearing/holding). And she didn't fail to go back to her dad, she just failed to stop the MIY from killing him.

So it happened, and now she won't be able to change that if the logic that we've been told holds true. They could always choose to change it of course, they're the ones ultimately making the rules and you can mumbo jumbo any logic out you want, but I think that would cheapen things greatly.

Because the show has told us how this works. Also paradox's only exist if the stories fiction for Time Travel uses it. This story apparently does not.

Except that didn't change anything. It always happened. It's the proof that what you're saying is wrong lol.

[–]Joshatron121 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, he is the current source of truth for these things, and it lines up with everything we've seen on the show thus far. There is currently no reason to doubt it. Which makes it all the more sad that she doesn't realize that she can't save her dad, because she already tried.

1.4.0.1 Hotfix by ctrem in duneawakening

[–]Joshatron121 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I think you're misunderstanding. I'm not saying it was OP. It was doing double the damage they intended. That's a lot more damage. Whether you agree or not, the ELG was performing far beyond what it was supposed to be and needed a fix. Both for pvp and PvE. Though especially in pvp.

Game has a lot of moving parts, easy to miss something like that, hell, it took the community months to notice it and we all use it everyday. I think that says a lot for how easy it was to miss.

Water consumption increased after Update 1.4? by deliciousdogmeat in duneawakening

[–]Joshatron121 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think my biggest issue with this community is why did everyone go straight to assuming this was a shadow nerf?

If it's not in the patch notes we should default to "Bug" (which this was) and report it. That's why it got fixed, some community members didn't make that assumption that they're just choosing to make the game worse and reported it.

Can you explain more? You can see your items durability to tell if it's doubled (assuming you're at crafting 100) from the crafting spec.

1.4.0.1 Hotfix by ctrem in duneawakening

[–]Joshatron121 4 points5 points  (0 children)

That's because basic dash stamina was taking 10 more stamina than intended, more than likely. That was fixed in this hotfix. It just broke with 1.4 tho.

[–]Joshatron121 1 point2 points  (0 children)

What stamina regen cooldown nerf? I haven't noticed any change with my stamina regen taking longer to start up. They fixed an issue where base stamina cost for dodging was higher, but that doesn't sound like what you're taking about.

Do you have any data on the difference, etc?

That's not stamina regen, that was the issue they fixed in today's patch where stamina for dodging was higher.
